**WC 2010****6/11-7/11**

Here it is, the biggest sporting event in the world is just around the corner,

32 Nations will fight to bring home the biggest prize of them all.

Hopefully we can all come together and all help each other win some money and enjoy the next month.

Instead of me making daily threads with my WC picks, I think it is a better idea to create one and add picks as I lock them in..This forum will be jammed over the next month and creating daily threads will only make it harder.

I will post all my future bets as I lock them in, and once the games start I will post my picks for games daily in this thread, any feedback or comments are welcome,

We have A LOT of good people in this forum, and if we all work together I expect us all to make some cash and enjoy this tournament at the same time,

To Win Group,

USA Win Group C +450 – At +450 this is worth a shot, England is the clear favourite in this group, and the 1^st game of this group will be a big one. A lot of hype for England this time around..Not much too say about this one, call it a value play if you will.

Argentina Win Group B -240 – They seem to be focused and ready, Messi playing the best soccer of his life. This group is harder than many may think but I just don’t see TINA not winning this group. If they tie a game VS Greece or Nigeria I believe they still win the group. A few questions in the back end, but with the lack of offense shown by opponents in the group the fire power of this team should be enough to win them the group.

Finish Bottom of Group,

South Korea ( Group B ) +110 - One of the more harder groups in the tournament, goals will be hard to come by in this group. With a stale offense and great opponent defence, I don’t see South Korea winning a game. This team is always well coached and very disciplined, but I don’t see them fairing well in this group.

Group Forecast,

1^st Spain, 2^nd Switzerland +270 – This group seems to be fighting for 2nd place already, Switzerland have shown some improvement over the past couple months. Valon Behrami should be ready for the 1^st game VS Spain. They showed some offense VS Italy last week in the friendly, and with a solid defense I think they can capture 2^nd place in this group.

Top Team Goal Scorer,

Italy, Alberto Gilardino +280 – Had a great season this year in Serie A.. Was a part of the 2006 team and has some experience under his belt. Will be starting up front, for Italy to do well they need this man to step up and I believe he is willing to do so.

suitup+300 has some value but I don't see them losing, the safe bet would be +0.5..This is going to be an interesting game, everyone isn't impressed with France because how they performed in the friendlies...They might come out strong you never know, they do have the talent

maybe I am looking at the props wrong, but betjamaica has odds for top scorer for Gilardino at +2500, greek has +3600 and even the local has him at +2500.  Im thinkin you may have forgotten a zero....
