Ok, thanks guys! I may stay away... I really dont know much about soccer, just looking for a game that was as close as a sure thing...

Q - never a sure thing in betting.  You should sit back, read the threads on this forum, ask questions when you have any, etc.  You can learn a lot about soccer from the guys on this forum.  They know their stuff.

Thanks Whiskey, I know there is no sure thing in betting... I just have a little extra $$ from a few good nights in a row and was looking for a big ML play that had a better then avg shot at winning... Like Lakers vs Nets for example.... High money line but you better believe more times then none Lakers win the game... With a ML -250 on man city, I thought that was is... But I am getting a feeling that it could be a tighter game?

Man City has spent a lot of money and bought themselves a nice team.  They are pushing to be a top 4 team in the EPL.  They had a very uninspired outting @ Hull City this weekend.  Looked very poor in the first half.  They put it back together in the second half to score a goal and apply pressure.  They should win this game today, but you never know.

If you want something closer to a sure thing (and don't mind laying the cash), wait until you can catch a game like ManU against Portsmouth this past weekend.  That was at -500.  ManU won 5-0.

Thanks Whiskey.... Yeah like last night I had PHX vs EDM (NHL) -250, phx won 6-1... I will spend the $$$ on a ML where I know a team is that much better then the other...But soccer I just dont know anything about.

Bolton did just draw at home 0-0 against Fulham . . . but Fulham is hardly a 'good' road team . . .

So . . .I guess it comes down to Man City on the one hand hopefully getting back to 'home form' and wanting to atone for their lackluster recent results . . .  versus whether Bolton's new coach can make significant advances reflected in Bolton's away form. . .

I'd stick with the -1 line . . . the ML was a degenerate bet on my part.
