i still can't believe the brazil/tina game ended in 0-0 draw. Had tina pk +160 and o2.5 -130. I'm still waiting to see what my site will do with odds to win euro now. Someone put up a thread that now has Holland +350. With you on all the same today. Like Port final to be 1-0, 2-0. Gl today and let's get it back

Hereis my recap after round 1, just a quick ranking on what I saw as the best team, just base on the 3 games played, not anything else, and also doesnt mean squat for the quarter
 
1) Holland
2) Portugal

Thought about the quarter final, just lean for now
 
Portugal in extra time
Turkey in an upset
Holland just barely in a shoot out, like a 3/2 game
Spain ....88 years the curse of the bambinos could be over LOL

Pinnacle has Holland to win it all @ +360

others are:

Portugal +460
Germany +660
Croatia  +810
Russia +1750
Spain +485
Italy + 580
Turkey  +3000

I got Portugal @ +760 before the tourney and put a small amount on Holland +460 some time ago.  I dont know about putting a bit on Italy or Spain...

The hope in the German camp is that Portugal will play a more adventurous game than any of their previous opponents, thus giving them the chance to attack on the break.

That seems a safe bet, with Portugal's forwards looking a constant danger in their two wins, 2-0 against Turkey and 3-1 over the Czechs.

'We have had two very good second halves,' said Scolari, who is likely to field the same team that started the first two games. 'Principally we have played football. We've worked with the ball. That is our quality.'

With Portugal determined to play the ball around and Germany eager to launch swift breaks, it has the makings of an excellent match, with the Portuguese looking slight favourites.

'For me being favourites doesn't count,' Ronaldo said ahead of the match. 'I just hope Portugal can play their best game.'

Word is that Podolski might not even play for Germany.
 
Guys Croatia is going to take it all. I say they meet Dutch in the final.

Croatia could for sure win it all...they play very smart..they will be hard to beat for sure....
 
One thing to consider is luck...you always needs some luck , a bad call and bam it is all gone..
 
Team that seems to fit the luck factor, Holland, they cant do anything wrong, Turkey..yes they have heart and a great fighting spirit but if Czec doesnt miss that ball they might not be here, and Italy, Buffon save the day..

I can't seem to press that Portugal button, my book just moved Port from +130 to +125 and i now have Germany at +200....

Portugal and Germany have been my two favorite teams since 2 World Cups ago, but after the Third Place match where the Germans in the previous World Cup I just don't know.

I know teams change and some players become better while other teams become worse, but just look at the history between Germany and Croatia. Croatia has a winning history against Germany, and look what happened- they won.

I'm just saying that history CAN repeat itself.

Germany was in Germany when they beat Portugal.  No homefield advantage now.  Germany looks weka up front but you can never count them out.  I like the over.

yes the over under is tricky for this game, Germany defense has some holes, it all depend what Germany decide to do play conservative and wait..but if the attack Portugal will make them pay in counter attack
