I mentioned earlier that the current state of referee-ing in the NRL is atrocious... Would like to add the Knights to that list of pitiless fools..They are only going add value to their coaches namesake and sink like a....Stone.....it`s ok though they have Brian Smith and the Roosters to blame for their gross ineptitude... Perhaps they need some ECCIES to spread the love...Ask Andrew......

Sorry Battla...I am often rambling the asides...To put it straight..I like to wager...excessively bordering on problematic...My well capped
wagers are robbed by my impulses..However yesterday I had the Sharks +24.5 and won but yet was still appalled with the referee`s..I blamed Ken Arthurson...Tonight much the same...But the knights did nothing to hightlight the inept decisions made by the referee`s by playing so appalling and give the ref`s a free pass... That strip on Houston for mine turned the game...Knights, if good enough could of gotten back into it...but they did`nt ..hence letting the ref`s win...And any incoming coach should never slag his predacessor,especially if he was his offsider..denotes a blame game that sets to rule the knights in upcoming seasons...Thats my bit...wrong or right only time will tell...till then...even if you follow them Battla it is not personal and directed at you..I hate the victim mentality...I made the wrong wager tonight...the Knights are not too blame for me getting it wrong...Again no victim here...But man they shit me...would dread to be fan at this stage...

blue, you can't judge the Knights on their performance in Canberra imo. the conditions there are very unique and everyone finds it tough to get a handle on that freezing, slippery ice-rink of a field.
fortunately premierships aren't decided at Canberra Stadium

True Jive...But it dates back now and feel the knights have been punching above their weight...Hell look what the Raiders did to a now rock solid Bronco`s outfit...Look at the Dragons now...Each week holds something new..which suits me fine but the whole debacle at Newcastle has been led by business which detracts from the whole aspect of this game...find it ludricous the way the rules are, however that`s the NRL and that is what forums such as this are for,to voice our opinion...Not tailoring it to suit people it may offend..That I deem a being a conservative...Unless surrounded by those who agree with them,they stay silent and do lots of nodding...Not saying is not lying....That is how I feel...This is not BK.. JT is correct. Newcastle have had 2 wins and a draw down there in 21 years. It is obviously a difficult place to play. As you alluded blue, the Raiders out muscled the Dragons down there and also put the cleaners through Brisbane - Bisbane have since beaten the Raiders away and the Cowboys away.
The Knights definately were flat and outplayed, but some of the calls against them were unacceptable in a national competition - just like some of the calls against Cronulla were.
If they finish 8th and play the Kimmorley-less Dogs week one (assuming they knock-over Penrith), it's a preferable scenario than playing in Melbourne or the Gold Coast imo.

However, I disgaree with the Newcastle punching above their weight comment. They have now beaten every team in the 8 except Parramatta this year. If they could win away from home more consistently, they would be in the 4 now, instead of fiddle-fucking around on the cusp of the 8.
