What is your angle on this one mate because I was confident you were going to go the dog again? They were pretty average in their last game.
The look ahead line for this game prior to the Barbarians provincial game was -10.5 so clearly the books have overreacted on their first performance on Saturday which I think is ridiculous. They played their weakest XV to begin with and were playing a game only 3 days after landing in NZ so they were always going to be lethargic. None of the players who played in their respective competition finals game started.
Team named for Wednesday is much more powerful and more importantly for me Gatland has picked a team where he has aligned national combinations in key positions (e.g. all Welsh halves pairing, Lawes and Itoje as the second row combo etc).
Also with the backrow named they are going to dominate the rucks. Although the Blues have named a decent team they have been the "weakest" of the NZ teams this season so IMO this line looks way off.
