The Sportsbook here in CT is Fanatics. They offered a RL of Boston +6.5 runs -1300.  So, I nibbled on that. Got it parlayed with some big ML ncaaf home teams Saturday.  Knocked the parlay ticket down to -263.  
Really don’t understand how they can offer a home team +6.5 runs in such an important series.  Not something you see too often. But, not going to overthink this one.  
nyy@BOS is the Sunday night mlb game.  Warren & Crochet the listed starters so thinking Boston is in great shape to take this series.

 Best case scenario would be a group of workers who all chipped in and scored the winning ticket.  Now that I could get behind.  Like 25 co-workers could say, “See ya!!!” to the boss who wasn’t invited to the ticket pool. 

Unfortunately there is something sadder.  The winner will have relatives crawling out of the woodwork like cockroaches.  Then there will be countless sad sack stories about innocent children who need medical operations.  All of a sudden the winner will realize that the burden of ridiculous wealth is not all rainbows and unicorns.

Most people in this thread would simply say, “No it’s not worth it”.

I’ve been gambling for over 50 years and for me, I can say, “Yes it is worth it”.

Everybody seems to have the opinion that, “It’s me against the bookie or casino”.  Incorrect.  In actuality it’s you against yourself!

You either have the ability to restrain yourself from a prolonged losing streak or you do not.  You either have the ability to press when on a winning streak or you do not.  It’s really that simple.  

There have been times I couldn’t lose no matter what casino game I played.  Other times I couldn’t win AND recognized immediately it wasn’t my day, my week, and yes even my month!

So, it’s not you against the casino.  It’s you against yourself.  The sooner you can look yourself in the mirror and understand that simple fact is when you’ll be a complete gambler.
