Those loser Braves have dumped their last 8 games played on a Sunday. They have managed a total of 7 runs in their last five Sunday home games. Nice team! |

I bet on greasy Logan Webb in each of his last two starts, and both times he gave up 4 runs in the 6th. And that previous bet was on the Giants -1.5 +170 over the Dodgers. Webb gave up those runs to let an 8-2 lead get chopped to 8-6 on the way to the inevitable 8-7 final.

Now Blue Jays 1st 5 bettors are even angrier as fat Logan Webb gets knocked around in the 6th. |

Imagine having the Blue Jays in the 1st 5 innings. Runner at 3rd three times, pitcher perfect through four and……..you lost?

In the end, Brandon Young never did quite figure out Kyle Stowers.

Brandon Young retired the Marlins on 8 pitches in the top of the 1st but then he regressed into his usual routine of gopher ball tossing.

Weird. They landed in Milwaukee and immediately laid down. The whole team just laid down. After no-showing at home all weekend, they didn’t show up on the road either. They truly looked like they didn’t care. |

Richard’s a nice name, but you have to think of something else.” After being asked why, he’d have to lean over and whisper “Cuz yer boy can’t be fuckin’ ‘Dick Fitts’ for godsakes!!” |

The worst part about betting on the White Sox this season, in my opinion, is having to watch Luis Robert, Jr. attempt to make solid contact. But him and his puny .185 batting average have been absent from the middle of the White Sox order for the last 10 games while he’s been recovering from a hamstring strain. Without his useless bat, the team has gone 5-5, a record that looks even better when you consider that they got swept in Dodger Stadium, a venue in which they weren’t simply overmatched but also intimidated. Michael Taylor and Brooks Baldwin have been filling in for Robert, Jr. in center field since June 25th. Offensively, they’ve been a major upgrade, with Taylor batting .320 (8-25) and Baldwin .375 (6-16). |
