@GMoneyGTown I take that back about it being ok weather-wise this morning - I just walked out to dust the snow off my car and grab the newspaper from the driveway - the wind is whipping up. It is WINDY out and i now see the trees in my backyard leaning when a gust blows through so the wind is starting to pick up and my guess by game time it will be sustained in the 15-20 mph zone. |

I live in Maryland...forecast is for bone chilling temps in the 20s but wind sustained at 15-20 mph with some gusts higher. This morning as I look out my window and i live about 30-40 mins from the stadium everything looks calm except for the cold temps. I don't see much wind but the weather experts say it will pick up by 4:30 as i mentioned. I am a big believer in weather as a factor. I don't see or think it will affect Lamar's scrambling but i do think if it is windy it will affect some of Lamar's throws. He isn't a passer with the tightest of spirals on his throws so you could see some wobbly ones. As for CJ Stroud, I am sure he is used to weather from college but again I think it will affect his passes downfield some and they do like to throw medium-long passes. The over under is 43.5 and on any other day i may have taken OVER but these weather games (except the Buffalo one) tend to be lower scoring affairs. I am thinking UNDER 43.5.....what say you about the weather and this game?

@FredLeonard Hey Fred, no worries that it will be 15-20 mph winds and gusts higher in a bitter cold in Baltimore? Just wondering if you saw the weather forecast. I am not so sure it will affect Ravens and Lamar scrambling but it may affect CJ Stroud throwing downfield some.

@ghostfaceripper LOL. Damn right.
People: Stop spreading misinformation. The Auburn QB - THORNE - has not entered any portal this morning. Perhaps he entered the porta potty on the field but certainly not the transfer portal. |

College Football's offseason comes when its season is still decidedly ON, with players' newfound - and justified - free agency occurring while practices are ongoing and bowl games fill teh TV lineup. The sport's leaders - and that term is , of course, used loosely - have chosen chaos over order. The result is total confusion. Lane Kiffin - Take it away: "It's a terrible system" Kiffin told reporters "I wouldn't think any other sports, professional sports, have ever set up a system where free agency starts while the season is still on. So it really makes no sense. YOu can leave. You can stay. You can go any other place. Coaches from other schools can call you and our season is still going on. It would be like NFC AFC playoffs start in a couple weeks and all of a sudden "Hey free agency opens the week before".

I graduated from Univ of Maryland and I am a die hard Terps fan for everything....though mostly they have been quite bad lately with sports. Most times I don't bet their games cause hate rooting against them. They are starting a fellow named Billy Edwards at QB tomorrow against Auburn. He started two games for us last year (Oct 22) and won both. He is more dangerous running the ball than throwing....actually he ran for a lot of TDs in 22 i think. He will take off and run when he doesn't find an open receiver quickly. I don't know Auburn's defense a lot but they need to prepare for him running. I think MD may put up a fight early in the game but if Auburn gets on top in the lead then it will be tough sledding for Terps to mount a comeback. However staying away from the game and rooting for my alma mater - GO TERPS. BTW, thanks to both of you and your collabs....I always check in with your posts for useful information and analysis though i may not always agree. Good luck. |

I swear, this bowl season i have just seen so many people here crying about this and about that or about a player, a team, a game or someone who posts in here. I mean a lot of damn crying and whining is going on. You don't like that players have opted out then don't be the game; you don't like the PAC 12 then don't bet any bowl games with PAC 12 teams; you don't like a top poster on here and his analysis then shut up and post your own; you cry at the start of the game when the team you bet on is losing but then they start wining and you are still crying. THIS IS GAMBLING - shut up and do it and take it like a man or get the heck out of here. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to bet. It's okay to debate certain things on a game, a team, a player or someone who posts here but for god's sake STOP CRYING. Ok, i am done. They will probably be some cry-a-babies replying to this post... |

I’ve never seen one actual player ruin a game like Jackson Arnold just did
in College Football READ: he is a freshman starting his first game!!!!!! |

True - this ain't the same UCLA from years past...they actually in my mind suck. However it is still puzzling as you mentioned why the line is what it is given how bad they are. Something smells fishy here. |

I bet OK State last night and they won BUT Texas A&M suited up two QBs last night and they had tons of people out due to transfer portal or NFL. On the very first player A&M QB gets hurt and they put in a freshman QB who had thrown a total of 3 or 4 passes all season. The freshman threw for 300 yards and ran like for 60...OK State hung on but man i am wondering if we are getting sidetracked by players not playing..... |

Ha - I live in Maryland and i posted yesterday that it was raining and nasty yesterday in the VA Tech game and i played the under and you are right it sailed over. THe weather did contribute yesterday to two turnovers - first by VA Tech when the QB fumbled a snap which led to a score and second when punt receiver dropped the ball. However, I am a firm believer of bad weather and playing unders. People say it is not the rain so much that is the issue but the wind. I don't care i have won too many unders in bad weather to change based on one or two games like yesterday's going over. I am betting the UNder in the Boston game. They also have the other game in NYC too and i don't know if they are getting rain as well. |

When is the last time you see a freshman QB who threw less than 10 passes in a game during the season comes in and throws over 300 yard. Unbelievable. |

In the other game - A&M starting QB got hurt and is out and they now have a freshman QB. Gundy goes for a FG on the 2 yard line instead of trying to score a TD and even if you don't get it then you pin a freshman on the 2 yard line. One of A&M's WR just got hurt as well though might continue. Now i am laughing to myself but also crying because everything is pointing to OK State yet it is 3-3. Please football gods , don't be cruel to OK State backers tonight.

@TRAIN69 Thanks for the reply. Agree with the Gundy note...his bowl history is a good one. A&M is just so decimated by the departures that i am just not sure how they keep up with OK St if OK St gets ahead and keeps piling on so I am also making this my big play so far. Good luck with everything. |

Train, the OK St v Texas A&M game is now sitting at -3.5 for OK St. Everything i am reading meaning all the experts and pundits and the sporting world (as well as you and Wahoo's collab) are on OK St. I am in agreement but i am wondering why this spread hasn't moved even further in OK St's favor. I know it started with Texas A&M and this is a big swing but something is making me nervous that it hasn't even gone further in OK State's favor. Any opinion on this? |

As an FYI for those of you betting the VT v Tulane game in Annapolis MD. It is raining all morning and the rain will get heavier at game time and beyond. I live in MD and it is a bit nasty outside.
