Dustin Johnson rolled over Webb Simpson 5&3 while my "to win" picks Tommy Fleetwood, Thomas Pieters, Alex Noren and Pat Perez all won their 1st rounds along with Marc Leishman and Ty Hatton. the Japanese "Who ???" players played well with Hideto Tanihara beating Spieth and Yuta Ikeda halving with Ryan Moore. I have $5 'to win" "sprinkles" on both @ 200-1

interesting 2nd day matches Thursday. will see IF McIlroy can "bounce back" vs Gary Woodland and IF Spieth can get back on track vs Yuta Ikeda. kind of looking like Jason Day may be "disinterested" vs Lee Westwood. well one reason I played Alex Noren this week is last season he went thru the field in the Paul Lawrie Match Play @ Archerfield in Scotland like Heinz Guderian went thru Poland and France only to mis-manage his final match with that old geezer Anthony Wall in a howling wind and end up 2nd. I am sure he LEARNED from that experience

Soren Kjeldsen and Alex Noren are into the Saturday "knockout round" with BOTH Woodland AND Molinari as tourney WD's. will see Friday WHO they get out of Group #15 (likely McGirt) and Group #9 (likely Koepka)

my guys Matthew Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood are on "life support" ONLY hope they have is for them to WIN and their group leaders to LOSE Friday so they get to a "sudden-death" playoff. Pat Perez needs to defeat or halve Westwood Friday to avoid a 3 way playoff with him and Leishman. Hideto Tanihara can get to the "knockout round" IF he can defeat countryman Yuta Ikeda

glad i took a "hedge" match play with Westwood even over Pat Perez. Pat loses 1&2 SO that group looks person a 3 way playoff with Perez, Westwood and Leishman all with 2 points

well I got PORKED in the 3rd round. Fleetwood LOSES 2&4 to freeking Kuchar who had been halfazzed the 1st two round giving the group to Zack Johnson. the "Matthew Mouse" WON his match with Thomas BUT LOST the playoff to damn Na. "Salt" Pieters half with Watson gave Bubba that group and Perez LOSS to Westwood set up a 3 way playoff won by Leishman.
