Steroids during the 2002-2005 period along with losing his rock and his guidance...his father.
Trying to re-create himself during the 2005-2008 period with the coach switching and swing adjustments...but his body ultimately starting to fail him because of the probable steroid use.
Personal life falling apart in 2007-09 so his mental state went straight downhill.
Mental aspect fell off then the body started to fall apart.
Around that time all the kids that were 5-15 years old when he broke into the game started getting their game in gear...and they weren't afraid of him.

RinkRat,
I completely agree Tiger should have stayed with Butch, but I do not believe that was the start of his downfall. He had A LOT of success under Hank as well and IMO, was swinging it better with him. Not a big fan of the changes Foley installed in him. Really comes down to the injuries with him. He had a Player of the Year season in 2013 so I can contribute his recent struggles with pain and not being able to put in the practice workload that is required to be dominant in this game.

I DO NOT UNDER STAND THESE HIGH PROFILE SPORTS FIGURES, THAT THINK THEY DON'T HAVE TO LIVE BY STANDARDS THAT ARE SET FOR THEM. ONCE YOUR IN THE PUBLIC EYE YOU ARE SCRUTINIZED BY EVERYONE, AND THERE IS NO HIDING. ALL THE MILLIONS YOU COULD HAVE MADE, ARE NOW GOING TO THE LAWYERS AND TO YOUR EX. TO MANY CARRIERS DOWN THE TUBE BECAUSE OF TO MANY INDISCRETIONS, "ERGO YOU TOOK A DUMP!!!
