Big money tourney (7,000,000 euros) bringing big names at tough course.
Going with course history and who is playing well

    Wiesberger -140 v Fleetwood
Wiesberger has been consistently very good this year and has an excellent tourney history here.
    2016 T11 @ -1
    2015 1st @ -13
    2014 T18 @ +4
    2013 T13 @ Even
Fleetwood is so up and down but has a lousy tourney history here
    2016 MC @ +6
    2013 MC @ +4
    2012 MC @ +12

    Kjeldsen -145 v Larrazabal
    Same story here.
    History here favors Kjeldsen
    Kjeldsen
    2016 did not play
    2015 T15@ -1
    2014 T18 @ +4
    2013 T8 @ -1
    2012 T9 @ -3
    Larrazabal
    2016 MC +8
    2013 MC +15
    2012 T61 +12
So the last 3 times Larrazabal has played this event he is +35 in only 8 rounds!

    Wiesberger -140 v Fleetwood

WOW!!! I agree that "Wheeze" is much more consistent than Tommy (and did WIN here two years ago) BUT a -140 seems pretty "pricey" vs a guy that is either Top 5 or "blows up"

"Wheeze" is -110 "flat" vs Alex Noren in both his tourney match plays @ Westgate and William-Hill this week

I am chancing our boy Dylan Frittelli -110 over George Coetzee again this week. hopefully Dylan has a better first two days than @ Munich last week. also "The Mole" over the "Rahm-a-lama Ding Dong" I got him +120 on the open. that has now "flipped" to -120 @ Westgate and -110 @ William-Hill

    GOOD LUCK, Sacker17

I agree Frittelli is a very good player but Frittelli has never played this event while last 5 years Coetzee has played it 2x
    2014 MC +7
    2012 T17 Even
Coetzee is playing his best golf right now with Top 14s in 7 of his last 11 tourneys.  Gotta passon this

I also agree Wiesberger -140 is a heavy load to lay but Fleetwood has a lousy history here.  But then again, this year Fleetwood is a MUCH improved player.
I do NOT have a line on Wiesberger -110 v Noren but would tend to agree there too

I am also going to add Luitten Even v Poulter.
Surprised that Poulter is -120,  Luitten opened at -120.
Money going towards Poulter.  Luitten played well last week in Germany at T14, and week before in weak field in Austria was T7.  Luitten hadn't been playing great before that but seems to be back on track and has a good history here having made the cut the last 4x he has played here from 2012-2016, with 2016 finish T9 @ -2
Poulter is playing better this year but think Luitten is better.

Gonna also add Ross Fisher -120 v Wood
Fisher has 3 Top 9 or better in last 4 events and 5 Top 9 or better in last 7.  Tough to beat that.
Plus in the last 6 tourneys that they have played together Fisher has beaten Wood 5 of 6
Also Fisher has played this event 3x since 2013
    2016 T22 @ +1
    2014 T26 @ +5
    2013 T34 @ +4
Wood has played this event 4x since 2012 with 3MC and best finish last year 2016  T11 @ -1

    Also adding
    Pieters -110 v Fitzpatrick
Pieters plays well in big events.
Last year was T16 here while Fitz MC
Pieters did MC at US Open but before that was T4 at Masters
In May was T5 at the WGC- Mexico
    Last year T4 at WGC-HSBC
    4th place at the Olympics
    T30 at 2016 British Open

Forgot to add the 1st play I put in
    Molinari -135 v Rahm
Left the office and all my research I had done (really need to do some real work tomorrow !) so I don't have the finishes handy BUT I can tell u that Molinari has an INCREDIBLE history here. Many top 10s. Rahm with his "maiden" start here and it seems that just maybe Rahm isn't quite as sharp as he had been.

I went with "The Matthew Mouse" guys. Tied 2nd @ Nordea [-10] and tied 4th @ China Open [-15] with a tied 12th [-5] @ BMW PGA in between. also made the cut @ the US Open and tied 35th [+1]. the "Fish" playing well too with Top 10 finishes @ BMW PGA, China Open and Shenzhen BUT was a CUT at both the US Open and The Players

I was checking 1st round tee times @ Paris and noticed Dylan Frittelli is marked as British Open qualified on the europeantour.com web site along with Alex Levy, Fabrizio Zanotti. Richie Bland. David Lipsky, Pablo Larrazabal, Darren Fichardt the Thai kid Phachara Khongwatmai.

I still need young Renato Paratore to qualify. he and Frittelli along with Jeunghun Wang an early 7:40am Paris tee time off #10 1st round. hopefully the three "young guns" push each other

    Rat
Not loving the start as Fleetwood (the new and improved version this year) goes out and for the 1st time ever breaks 70 at this course (I knew he had a lousy history here but watching golf this morning the announcers said that), shooting a -4 RD1 to Weisberger -1.
Bad bet by me as I was counting on Fleetwood not liking this course   But I shouldn't be surprised bac all of his history doesn't mean much I guess since he is just so much better in this breakout year for him.
I'm sucking wind laying -140.  Ugh!

well "Papa Ratte" starts out IN the DUMPSTER 1st round, sacker17. "The Mole" just could NOT MAKE a PUTT. played well tee to green BUT looked like he was completely bamboozled reading the greens. freeking "Matthew Mouse" with a horrid [+5] to Sullivan's [+3] and Dylan  Frittelli [+2] to Coetzee's [-2]. Rahm "sprayed" most of the round BUT salvaged a [-1]. also Wood [+1] to Sullivan [-3] so I am behind the eight-ball in EVERY match play so far

you are actually lucky Fleetwood only shot a [-4]. he missed a BUNCH of makeable putts late in the round. "Wheeze" in decent shape @ [-1]

I can NOT for the life of me figure these guys out. damn Frittelli, Paratore and Romero SO good in their recent wins and can NOT do anything here. BOTH Paratore and Romero with opening [+6]. only "to wins" i have showing any life are are Alex Levy [-2] (bogies #9, his 18th), Zanotti [-1], Colsaerts [-1] and my man Stormy [even]. Paul Waring the leader @ [-7] two up on "Salt" Pieters, Nathan Kimsey and the Swede Alex Bjork who was also an early leader @ Wentworth in the BMW PGA

    You are so right
    Fleetwood was ON!
And Rahm was scrambling and fortunate to be -1
Fleetwood was so much better and the line for round 2 is -115 both (damn 30 cent line).
Fleetwood over Rahm RD2 looks very good.
    I'm on Fleetwood RD2 v Rahm. .

Ya I think Tommy could win the whole schemer. BUT "Salt" Pieters strong 1st round [-5] and has an early tee time Friday with rain forecast later in the day when Tommy tees. also Alex Noren @ [-2] "lurking" with Larrazabal [-3] and Luiten [-2] early tee times

Tommy tied 3rd with Swede Alex Bjork @ tourney [-7]. freeking Peter Uihlein tied for the lead with "Yo Adrian" Otaegui 2nd round [-4] for tourney [-8]. he has been "wicked close" a number of tourneys this season and i have been waiting for him to make a "break thru" like Dylan Frittelli did @ Lyoness. will see how he does this weekend.

I am still pulling for my man "Stormy" with his 2nd round [-5] for tourney [-5]. hope he keeps it up this weekend. he AND Uihlein need to grab one of the "best three of top ten" to grab a British open spot

BUT you gotta think "advantage Tommy" to win because he has "been there, done that" this season and hitting the ball just perfect so far tee to green

Tommy is hitting the ball great.
He has a good chance and I wouldn't count out Pieters or Ross Fisher.  Think 1 of the 3 will win

May play Tommy again round 3.
    Just hitting it so good.

BTW did Gregory Havret shoot 66?
Depending on the matchup gotta consider going against him round 3.
