At the Tswana I will be betting South African players. I have a distinct recollection they perform well on home soil. 

I put small $$ on Van Rooyen and Otto in their matchups. I know Otto was T12 here last year. He is a solid older player who performs well in South Africa

Van Rooyen is a good up and coming you get player who already had a 2nd this season in South Africa.

I have a bet on Spieth +115 v Fowler. (Early line which looked off so I took it and I was kind of right in that Spieth ended up the favorite in the matchup). 

Nevertheless Fowler looked a whole lot better than Spieth rd1

Fowler hit 94% GIR yesterday. 

And although last year Fowler was T16 -6 here which wasn’t bad (Spieth was -7 but then again Spieth is playing worse this year) while watching rd1 yesterday the announcers said Fowler looked very good rd1 and that last year his stats at this event were great. Can’t remember exactly but think it was #2 GIR and #2 strokes gained tee to green. Mans Spieth is just not right yet this year. Hope today isn’t the day he turns it on
