Rickie Fowler ov Rory McIlroy

Not sure what the deal is with Rory McIlroy, but his last 2 tournaments he’s been not good, and it looks like his putting is off.  A missed cut and he kind of backed his way into a 20th place finish the last 2 tournaments, and he’s missed the cut the last 2 times he’s played here.  This is the time of year where Rickie Fowler comes on strong.  He won this tournament last year and ripped off 4 straight top 16 finishes, in 2016 he finished 16th here and got on a roll.

Ryan Palmer ov Tiger Woods

Tiger was bad last week, and at a tough course, I don’t see him getting any better.  His driving accuracy is 35%.  This course this week has tough rough, bunkers, water, etc.  He’s below the tour average in greens in regulation, I don’t see him having success.  Ryan Palmer has been a bit up and down, he’s got a missed cut a 2nd, a 20th, and a 58th this season, but he’s made the cut 6 times in a row at this tournament including a 2nd, 25th, and 26th recently.  

Harris English ov Ted Potter

Surprise Surprise the win by Ted Potter at the Farmers Open was the outlier performance by him this year.  He missed the cut last week and shot +6, and besides the win he’s bot a 73rd and 3 missed cuts.  They’ve played in 4 tournaments together in 2018…Harris English has finished ahead of Potter in all of them.  Potter hasn’t played here in 3 years.  Nothing spectacular from him, nothing spectacular from Harris English either here at this tournament, I just think Potter is fade material after his win.  

Luke List ov JB Holmes

I swore I would never bet against JB Holmes again.  Last time I did bet against him he finished 4th, but here we go.  Since then he’s missed 2 cuts, and finished 60th.    He hasn’t played here in 3 years, before that he missed the cut twice and finished 56th.  Luke List has meanwhile been sneaky sneaky good recently.  He missed the cut twice to start 2018, but since then he’s finished 12th, 26th, and 26th, and the last 2 years here he’s made the cut and even has a 10th place finish in 2016.

Liking quite a few of your plays... I do not have the Potter opportunity you have. If I could I would... Fowler makes a lot of sense this week. I cashed against JB last week but staying away from him this week. List makes a lot of sense though.

Rat I completely agree with the Fritelli play this week. I may be falling in love with the price but hard to not take him against Louie with his current form.

Sticking with the fade scenario with golfers playing poorly. Tiger seems to be a fade until he turns things around. I think he will get it going and making cuts more often than not, but it will take time. Taking Palmer at -125. Also playing Fritelli at +140 vs Oosthuizen...

Very tempted to fade Grillo this week vs Kirk... I just do not trust Kirk though. If Grillo makes the cut I think he is fade material on Sunday in a single round match up.

Did some research on Dylan Frittelli...PGATour.com says he is deceased!!

AJ, I’d fade Fritelli.  I don’t like betting on guys that are deceased.  They just don’t seem to play as good as the guys who are alive.

I agree with Tiger not making the cut for whatever it's worth. He has to be on a medical extension right? I think this is his last exempt year for the US Open as well... He may struggle to keep his card.

That's kinda creepy. I am going to look for a Twitter for him and see if he's seen it. I remember seeing this girl's twitter and her last tweet was she was "very nervous about her surgery tomorrow'. She hadn't tweeted in a year and I was like yikes, hope she just decided to not tweet anymore as opposed to the surgery going bad.

WHAT in the name of GOD with the high scoring ??? is PGA National THAT tough of a track ??? weather conditions are perfect yet THE low score so far is only [-4] and it looks like the CUT will be [+4]. hell's bells this looks as nasty as the PGA @ Quail Hollow last season or WORSE 

I do NOT know WHAT is going on @ PGA National. was there a WIND I didn't notice on the course Friday ??? I can NOT remember a PGA tourney where the CUT was a [+5]. a US Open at a "gimmick greens" track like Oakmont or a British Open with howling wind and rain YES but a "normal" PGA event ???

you KNOW this is gonna be a WEIRD tourney where only TEN golfers are under par AND Tiger Woods is tied 14th @ [+1]. thinking of chancing Tommy Fleetwood's adjusted "to win" odds @ 7-1 @ William-Hill with [-2]  Friday for [-2] tourney. IF the wind IS a factor he is used to it from Euro Tour action

Oh and ended up with another match play "splitski" 2-2 this week when Osthuizen "blew up" the final round. I thought that match was a "gone gosling" going into Sunday
