Books won't move the line on outright winners based on money that's come in on the bet most of the time. But if they get a majority of money on one guy in a matchup, they'll move the line to get action on the other side. The line started with DJ as the favorite over Rory, but has moved to Rory as the favorite because more people are betting him. He came out and said he feels great and that his injury is no concern, so I'm guessing that got some people convinced to bet him.

I don't get the McIlroy love either....hasn't played much competitive golf lately and yet he's favored in a lot of matchups. I can see that if it's some dinky tournament but this is a US Open. And from what I've been seeing, you'll need several rounds to get comfortable at Erin Hills
My opinion on DJ....that whole Masters debacle threw him off his mojo. Add in the new baby and he's not for me this week

well with [+3] opening round Dustin is NOT "out of it" BUT I am pizzed at myself for NOT chancing his "make the cut" NO @ +500 @ Westgate. I usually "sprinkle" some on ALL the "name" players NO high odds on that prop
