    No time for write-ups.
    Off to Mets-St. Louis game
I'm playing some of the European guys against Americans and fading Rory & Day.

    Lots of plays

    Rahm +105 v DJ
    Rahm +110 v Spieth
    Rahm +115 v Fowler
split the money up between the 3 bets

    Garcia -125 v McIlroy
Garcia has THE LOWEST TO PAR OUT OF ANYONE AT THE BRITISH OPEN THE PAST 10 years.  heard that on Golfchannel.
But in 2008 here he didn't play that well.
    Rory hasn't played well anywhere!
    Rose Even v McIlroy
    Matsuyama -105 v McIlroy
I bet the anti Rory plays large

    Fleetwood large
He grew up only 2km from the course and used to sneak in and play as a kid.  he is also playing GREAT!
    Fleetwood v Stenson +120.
Watched Stenson interview on Sunday and Stenson said his game "is nowhere near 100%".  Large!!
    Fleetwood +105 v Scott
    Fleetwood -125 v Day.  Large

    Grace Even v Phil
Grace is an excellent links player and shows up big in majors

    Kuchar -130 v Leishman'
I liked the way Kuchar played in Scotland

    Cabrera-Bello -120 v Thomas
RC-B is playing good again and looked very good winning in Scotland.
I am going by memory but I think RC-B was top 10 in the British last year??

    Lowry -110 v Snedeker
European guy who is a links player v American
Lowry has shown up in some majors too

    Poulter -125 v Zach Johnson
A little wary of Zach because he did play MUCH better last week and has done well at times at the British in the past.
    Small

    Fitzpatrick Even v Berger
European tour guy v Florida guy
    No brainer

    Kjeldsen +125 v Stricker
Same as above but Stricker did play very well last week

    Uihlein +115 v Harman
    Same as above.
I'll take the Euro tour guy who plays links golf

    Beef Johnson -165 v S. Kim
    same as above
    Beef plays good links golf

    Tanihara Even v Stanley
    Non-American play

    Spieth -110 v DJ
    DJ hasn't done anything lately

    Good luck all

Uh Oh, we're in trouble!!! agree with you on most everything sacker17. already booked those three Jon Rahm match plays PLUS his "quad" +265 over DJ, Rory & Spieth. also Tommy Fleetwoood "quad" +250 vs Day, Stenson & Scott and Rafael Cabrera-Bello +235 "quad" over Wiesberger, Sullivan and Fisher

one "outlier" from "fade the Americans" I am playing is Bryson DeChambeau +125 over Emiliano Grillo. was impressed last week with Bryson's WIN @ the John Deere. just maybe he is ready to live up to all his pre-tour "hype"

British Open 1st round match plays
Ryan Fox +140 over Matt Kuchar
Peter Uihlein even vs Russell Henley
Tommy Fleetwood +115 over Hideki Matsuyama
Matthew Fitzpatrick even over Steve Stricker
    parlay
Jon Rahm -155 over Patrick Reed
Rafael Cabrera-Bello -140 over Bubba Watson

    PROPS
    "to make the cut "
    Rory McIlroy NO +250
    Jason Day NO  +255
    "playoff " ??? YES +300
PIZZED that NO one had a "CUT" prop on Bubba Watson

    finish position OVER/UNDER
    Rory McIlroy 22 1/2 OVER -110 (23rd or worse)
Jon Rahm 20 1/2 UNDER -110 (top 20 or better)

check out ALL the "live dog" FIELD players this week in my thread

    Adding a RD1 matchup

    Spieth -110 v Stenson
Not sure why this line is so low considering Spieth is the betting favorite at +1315 vs Stenson +2475.

I'll happily take the Pick 'em matchup

    Spieth -110 v Stenson
Not sure why this line is so low considering Spieth is the betting favorite at +1315 vs Stenson +2475.

I'll happily take the Pick 'em matchup

btw for those that like Tommy Fleetwood "to win" this week Cantor Gaming has a "best finish by European player" Fleetwood @ 10-1 prop. his best odds for the tourney WIN are only @ 20-1 so you eliminate over half the field in case an American, "Anzac" South African or Asian was to beat him

Boy OH. did I LUCK OUT on my 1st round match plays. the Rahm + Cabrera-Bello parlay SAVED my BUTT. ONLY other winner "The Matthew Mouse" over Stricker

Fleetwood's opening [+6] just BUTT UGLY!!! typical "Tommy Tourney". either close to or in the lead OR 'blows up". he's gonna cost me a LOAD of bets

Jordan Spieth with the round of the day. ends up [-5] tied with Brooks Koepka and Matt Kucher BUT his round was in the rain and slop early

Friday weather looks NASTY >>> https://www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/spieth-and-co-expect-worst-weather-friday/

    Good job with the parlay!
I had RC-B Rd1 too v. Bubba (had to lay -150 so had it small).
Rahm was pretty lucky win though

I had Spieth Rd1 v Stenson pretty good so that is gonna help too because I've got Fleetwood 3 ways and Fleetwood is gonna cost me BIG.
What a puss.  Can't take the big stage in front of his people.  Just pathetic!  And get a haircut!

I am being cautious about R C-B 2nd round vs Bubba. looks like Watson "came to play" this week. only thing for me 2nd round is going back to "The Matthew Mouse" +110 over Steve Stricker again AND looking for a Tommy "bounce back" with Fleetwood +120 over Matsuyama

Ya everytime Tommy fukks up I think of the George Thorogood song "Get a Haircut and Get a Real Job" one of my favorite "George & the Destroyers" songs >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbAoXw_DqvM

    RD2
    Awful weather projected
Going with the guys I think will play well in the rain/wind.
Good ball strikers and/or low ball flights

Garcia (one of best ball strikers) -117 v Day (high ball flight)

Oleson -122 v Tanihara.  Not sure about the ball flight or weather play but Tanihara was awful today (+7) and Oleson beat him by 7 strokes and Oleson has been playing good lately

Kjeldsen -147 v Horschel  Kjeldsen is a good wind player with a very low ball flight.  Horschel was awful today (+6)

    Grace -121 v Duffner
Grace low ball flight.  Good links player

    Pieters -130 v Harrington.
Pieters has been good in majors and was -1 today.
Harrington blew up last week (+7) in Scotland on the rain/wind day

    Lowry -123 v Holmes.
Going with the Irishman in Irishman weather.  Smaller play

    Good luck

Tomorrow is supposed to be much windier than today. Bubba hits a very high curling ball which can be the death knell in windy conditions. But Bello is (160) over Watson for Friday which is way too much to pay.

My book has Kuchar (190) over Ryan Fox who is one of the "sharp" picks to do well this week. I'm ready to bet on Kooch to win the whole damn thing but I won't pay 1:2 on 1 round.

Totally agree with the Sergio over Day play. Very tempted to play Leishman -110 vs Phil... Phil is going to press round 2 and most likely implode... BOL Sacker

Garcia (one of best ball strikers) -117 v Day (high ball flight)

somewhat concerned with Sergio [+3] 1st round vs Day [-1] they tee @ 8:03 just as the weather is supposed to get nasty BUT 4 shots difference 1st round is scary

agree with Thor Olesen -125 [even] over Hideto Tanihara [+7]. they tee @ 9:03 right in the middle of weather and Thor should handle it better. same with Soren Kjeldsen -150 [+1] over Billy Horschel [+6]. they tee @ 12:31 also Martin Kaymer -125 [+2]  over Tyrrell Hatton [+5] which goes @ 7:52. thinking a small parlay of Olesen, Kjeldsen and Kaymer for "sh!ts & giggles"

    GOOD LUCK, Sacker

    Rahm +105 v DJ
    Rahm +110 v Spieth
    Rahm +115 v Fowler

the "Big Basque" needs to have that blond babe wife of his to "straighten his PUTZ". I about threw the remote thru my TV last night when he absolutely JACKED his first three putts the 2nd round and shoots [+4] for tourney [+3]

the god damn [+5] CUT is gonna SCREW my Jason Day "to make the cut NO" bet AND Rory McIlroy's sudden golfing "epiphany" after the front side Thursday makes THAT "NO" a loser. LOOK OUT for Rory on the weekend

the ONE bright spot for me Friday is I HIT the Olesen, Kjeldsen and Kaymer "for sh!ts & giggles" parlay plus a couple straight bets

    3-3 RD2
Started out looking very good but Pieters blew a huge lead vs Harrington and Grace blew a big lead too

    RD3
    Woodland -113 v Lovemark
Tough call bac Lovemark may finally be playing he golf he was expected to play. But Woodland has a good British Open record.
4 for 4 cuts and a T12 last year and a -1 today in the tougher afternoon wave.

    Dodt +110 v Jaidee.
Dodt played well at Scottish last week.
Jaidee an older steady short hitting player who shouldn't be favored.

just two 3rd round plays for me so far Saturday

Rory McIlroy -115 over Hideki Matsuyama. like I said in a thread, Rory is BACK. has looked like the Rory of old since that front side Thursday

Rickie Fowler -115 over Sergio Garcia. watching Sergio play Friday looks like he has a wonky shoulder. I think IF he starts out poorly he might even WD

thinking of getting back on the Olesen -120 vs Li, Kjeldsen +105 vs Fisher and Kaymer +105 vs Wiesberger "gravy train"

with much lighter winds and just a chance of a thundershower forcast for Saturday, I would NOT be surprised to see someone shoot a "bomber" round

freeking Branden "Dis"-Grace with a [-8] (a Royal Birkdale record 62) for tourney [-4]. Dustin Johnson [-6] for tourney [-3]. and WTF Jon Rahm ??? that big Basque baztard with an [even] for tourney [+3] in conditions even BETTER than @ Portstewart two weeks ago ??? four rounds 67-65-65-67 for [-24] there

SPLIT with Rory and "Rickie Tickie"

WHAT a fukking WRECK of a tourney for me. go 3-10 in tourney match plays and the ONLY "quad" group winner Rafael Cabrera-Bello. Noren ties with "Dis"-Grace in that group @ [-4] BUT Westgate's "tie breaker" is the player with the lower tourney round

I guess I have to "lighten up" on majors betting. just seems like the "hot" players coming in seem to FALL on their BUTT whenever I bet them. freeking Tommy Fleetwood and Jon Rahm in particular a HUGE disappointment at Royal Birkdale. ONLY bright spot with Rahm was in his Dustin Johnson tourney match DJ sucked even WORSE than he did. at least Rafa performed decent with tied for 4th
