Ya all the match plays are pretty tight after the 1st round. I am felling pretty foolish right now NOT playing Noren over BOTH "Weeze the Cheese" Wiesberger and Martin Kaymer. BOTH had been playing excellent lately which is why I "ducked" BUT Wiesberger shoots [&#x2B;1] and Kaymer [-1] 1st round  right now I would take a re-run of the Scottish Open with Alex Noren and Ty Hatton fighting it out the final round

after the 2nd round Ross Fisher, who lost a playoff to Alex Levy last week @ the weather shortened Porsche European Open, shoots [-4] for a tourney [-11]. 1st round leader Alex Noren with [-1] for [-9] "in range" @ 3rd and Tyrrell Hatton 5th with [-2] for [-7]

"Salt" Pieters [-4] for [-6] match plays vs Oostuizen [-1] for [-2] and Willett [+1] for [+2] looking good BUT damn "Fat Baztard" Lowry decides to play golf this week with [-4] for [-4] Friday vs Fleetwood [-5] for [-5] and Cabrera-Bello [-2] for [-4] and I will probably lose the Lowry vs Willett bet

because the tourney is a Pro-Am, similar to the PGA Tour Pebble Beach tourney, there is NO traditional 36 hole CUT. instead there is a 54 hole CUT of the top 60 pros and the leading 20 Pro-Am two man teams, regardless of the pro member of the team making the individual cut. those play the final round at St Andrews Sunday

btw, I do NOT like the "new improved" Euro Tour leaderboard. NOT nearly as "user friendly" as the old one. WHY these tech people always try to "fix what ain't broke" is beyond me

LOT of guys close to Tyrrell that can shoot "bomber" rounds esp @ St Andrews. 3 shot lead NO where safe esp with a player trying to win his first Euro Tour tourney Pieters KILLED me today with his [&#x2B;1] for [-5]. let Oostuizen get ahead  in their match play [-4] for [-6]. "Ooster" would be one of the guys I would be worried about shooting a "bomber" round Sunday. he has won before @ St Andrews. Ross Fisher too. he shot [-4] his first go around @ St Andrews

congrats Tyrrell Hatton on his FIRST Euro Tour WIN!!! final round [-6] for a tourney [-23] 4 shots over Ross Fisher and Richard Sterne [-19] Sterne also had his best finish in a LONG time

ended up 5-5 in my match plays which is better than losing AND the 60-1 WIN with Tyrrell so all in all a pretty good tourney. I NEEDED IT as much for my BRAIN as for my sports accounts

the 5-5 is "OK" BUT it pizzes me off that "hackers" like Graeme McDowell, Shane Lowry and Thor Olesen decided to actually play golf this week. those guys had been "cut bait" most of the season
