Unfortunately I don't have this option at my book or I would def play this..

No head to head options fitting the system for this tourney..

What really needs to happen I think, is to create a composite list of all the golfers, and power rank them so to speak.

Then, know exactly how much each letter grade increases, or decreases a golfer's initial potential. Obviously the A+ for Holmes last week didn't work that well, but he's coming off of brain surgery. That's difficult to quantify.

That being said Choi jumps out into contention early today, as he has a good history at the course and no publicaly known physical or mental issues. If we knew that Holmes was a 64/100 right now, and that an A+ only moved him up 10 points, we could have a reference point to work off of...

Just food for thought.

Horzy - That is definitely a good idea for power rankings.. Like I've said - I just provide the potentials to what i see on my list.. If the player sucks, it is your choice not to take him..

For me it is hard to classify what players are skill wise out of 100.. What would you class Stanley out of 100? He chokes then he won.. And who knows what the future holds for him? Is Tiger a 90 out of 100? Less or more? It's hard for me to come up with those numbers because that is judging.. I do like your idea but I think its better if I just provide the letters and let everyone do the power rankings for themselves.. Everyone will have a different opinion on what a player is skill wise..

I agree it wouldn't be easy. But there should be a way to take a group of statistics and make like a six week rolling average that ranks guys out of one hundred. My problem is I don't know which stats should be weighted more or less than others - not really a golf guy.

Would like to chat with you more about this though. :)
