Actually, the line is 2.5 or 3 at EVERY book here in Vegas. Pinny is the only book with 1 and that's at -129. Line opened at -1 and went up to -3. So with everyone on Pitt, line has adjusted accordingly.
Little tidbit. Nick Bogdonavich, who is one of the guys that sets the lines has stated that squares love to play on the Bears. Not saying it means much, but with that mindset seems they are planning on Bear money to come in before the game.

FYI, last season when more than 65% of public were on a play they won 52% of the time. So those so called traps lost more than they won and the so called square plays won more often than not.

wow alot of line movement.. opposite of what I was thinking.. alot of people throwing money at Jake and the Bears..
I like this line even more that before. I was going to take Pit -3 but really like -1. Also love the Under here. Both offenses struggle against more talented Defenses (even minus Troy P and Brian U)..

You can bet that Jake misses Marshall and Royal.. guys who could actually get open and make plays. He needs to get used to having nobody to throw to. Jake makes more mistakes this week against a stout Pit D.. His only hope is to have a good ground game from Forte. (athough GB bottled him up so why wouldnt Pit?)
I cant see more than 200 yards O from Chicago today..
Pitt O wont do much either but Ben finds a way to win it in the 4th Q. Pitt 17 - Chi 13.

as a bears fan i won't touch this game, but what i see happening is Big Ben buying time and finding open recievers against our young and inexperienced secondary. The real wild card is cutler. The bears will try to run forte but I think that will be tough but if cutler makes better decisions the bears will have a fighting chance. Soldier field is a tough place but the steelers are more than capable of handling that, I'd say steelers and the over but I won't bet against the Bears.

The Steelers D will really miss polamalu but dont sleep on Tyrone Carter. He is very familiar with this defense and has filled in for Troy, and played well in the past. The Steelers D still has Harrison and Woodley and they will be on Jay all day. Plus the Steelers passing ofense looks good and played well against Tennesse which I feel is a better D than the Bears. Steelers win and cover..GL all

I think there's been a huge over-reaction to Cutler's struggles last week at Lambeau.
For starters, Jay Cutler absolutely does not "suck", nor do his receivers in Chicago and they'll prove that as the year goes on.
I think the guy made a lot of bad decisions last week because of the scope of that game; his first, as a Bear in Lambeau, after the Denver fiasco, and against a Packer defense which is actually the real deal now. I think the Bears are going to bounce back in this one and Cutler's going to feel much better at home.
I also think facing that kind of pressure last week helps them get ready for this week.
I was liking the Bears today to begin with until I saw the Steelers were the consensus pick of the day at covers and now I love them.
This is a tough game for Pittsburgh to go on the road and play after what they went through last weekend (though the extra days will help).
Both teams have capable veterans filling in for Palomalu and Urlacher and I expect this game to be close, so I'll take the extra 3 points as insurance as the game wears on.
But I still think the Bears show up and take this game outright.
