Further review #6  I decided I won't buck the strong trends here.
Philadelphia is 1-3 ATS in their last 4 pre-sea against the Steel.
Phil is 0-4 SU&ATS in their last 4 Game One's.

As crazy as this may be I'm jumping back on my whim play THE EAGLES my gut is telling me Kolb and a few other Eagles back-ups will win this one outright. Your Steelers really don't need this one. Flip Flopping like this Qualifies me for the worst capper. But what the hell if your goint to flip-flop you might as well do it on pre-sea games.

Andy reid has indicated that his 1st and second teams will work 1.5 quarters apiece, and the third string will come in in the 4th quarter.
 
Coach Tomlinson has indicated that Ben Roethlisberger will play only one series giving way to Charlie Batch thereafter. Troy Polumalu is out. For the Eagles Assante Samuel is out too. Behind Batch is untested rookie Dennis Dixon of Oregon, and that's about it. backing up McNabb is Kolb and Feeley, who loves to toss picks. I think this game is going to be an ugly one won by the Eagles, as they intend to play their regulars a little longer. Tomlinson will more than likely take this game to build up his team's character and pound the ball on the ground.

Preseason is always tough........however, teams that need a boost are the picks........Detroit, Jets and KC are perfect examples. Eagles need a nice W whereas Pitt?........well, not really.  QB's for Eagles are sure to be out to prove something more than PITT's. since McBadd will probably not last to the halfway mark.......have to agree with  Watch...........Dixon? he might make it exciting.........over looks nice with.

Since I am LOUSY at picking  totals, I will take a flyer on the over as the over seems to be a thread consensus....so I might as well take a shot...

Over was looking very good early on as there was a lot of 1st half scoring...but six points in the second half = ....
 
I know better than to play totals!    At least they were very small plays!
