it's the lesser of 2 evils and I truly believe hes a good person. He actually wants to represent the ENTIRE USA not the 1% or christians or heterosexuals. It's the UNITED States of America not the divided into sections of what I like and will support States of America.
Have all his policies worked? Fuck no but we all know what the prior 8 years had done to a country who as far as debit and economy where on a positive path. It's for me a issue of not only economical rights but far more social and constitiutional rights (which can be amended remember boys). Gay rights isn't even a debate to me bc it is a constitutional right guranteed by the 1st amendment no if and or buts. To even think the opposite says a lot and not 1 GOP candidate other than Huntsman even says anything favoriable about it (I'd vote for Huntmans too FYI).
As for the GOP field just look at the numerous front runners, flip flopping Multiple Choice Mitt and all the horrid social stances they have because they're being held hostage by a EXTREME (yes the muslim said this even though I'm the farthest thing from an extremist) portion of the Republican party. I"m a registered Republican but that doesn't mean I'll blindly follow a party who is so on the wrong side of history that in 25 yrs we'll all laugh at those like Sarasota Sara. I'm not even trying to discuss the economic policies bc that in it's own self is a histerical joke and even after Bush took a surplus to the greatest deficit in history, the richest have profitted in RIDICULOUS fashion we still think or even dare to argue that going back to those policies are going to create jobs or better the economy?!!! Then how did we get her?...

Americans in general are doing this too. Too ridiculous degree. People in the midwest are talking about jobs but little of them understand that industrial jobs are dead. Machines fulfill those jobs without benefits, sick days, complaining and time off. Then they want to complain about main street and small business while complaining about less regulation? Ok so who killed Main Street? Was it Wal Mart and their likes coming in and dropping prices till the small businesses couldn't compete or was it the greed of Americans who went there to save $4 a trip only to unknowingly kill small businesses just so Wal Mart could once again return to higher prices?
On top of that theres the issue of education. In the last 15 years theres been a fatal and horrid shift in my generations thinking to pursue easy and less needed careers like psycology, physical education, etc fields as opposed to other countries (mainly china) where they encourage and treasure fields we once did like engineers, computer technology (new), doctor, attorney, etc. Which group has job security? What's the first field you'd drop when money is low? Are you still going to your Personal trainer or therapist when you're struggling to put food on the plate?
This isn't the only reason for many of our problems but it shows a huge issue that is allowing China and others to close and maybe surpass the gap we once held. We as Americans must realize this and also that to make America better and put it back into the place it once was we're going to have to sacrifice and change many mentalities. I know that many aren't and sadly it will bite us all in the end just so few can profit at the top. It's sad bc this will more than likely be the first generation that is worse off than their parents was.
dl36 you are right. The main thing that can return us is education. It's still the one field we really do lead in. But only on the college level not first, secondary school level which is a disgrace.
