Yet when Jeff Sessions proposed an amendment to this bill to ELIMINATE the loopholes for illegal citizens filing  tax returns to provide SS #'s for ALL their fictional so called dependents (!,500 per child tax credit no less) to the tune of approximately 4 BILLION dollars per year, he is denied to even bring it up to vote.

This is exactly the kind of crap the American people neeed to be made aware of. Taking away benefits for disabled VETS who protected our very keyboard typing freedoms from hard working Americans dollars to ILLEGALS  offspring is an unfathomable crime

This is SO SO Wrong.....More pandering from the Democrat party playing Santa Claus.....This story has legs......Especially come early NOVEMBER 2014

Crusher - Couldn't agree more on the freebies for illegals in this country. Makes one want to bet in cash everyday and not claim the winnings. Just saying...

In general, many people hate paying taxes.  Historically, Americans have always been suspicious of government.  Hatred may have grown during past decade of struggles with big challenges such as Afganistan, Iraq, homeland security, Katrina and Obamacare.  Most cases plagued by errors, delays and cost overruns.  Furthermore, endless complaints erode public trust.

Although politicians may be corrupt and incompetent, professional civil servants generally do a good job.  Examples: NASA, disease control and federal reserve.  Also Americans love medicare, social security and environmental laws.

     the only reason.

     Greed

Damn, where do I even begin …?

The US government has an imperialistic foreign policy out of greed.

The US government sends its own citizens to die out of greed.

The US government sends its own citizens to jail out of greed.

The US government punishes successful people out of greed.

The US government created a corrupt criminal justice system out of greed.

The US government gives themselves raises while others suffer.

The US government gives politicians better lives over its soldiers.

The US government has taken ownership of the private sector.

The US government no longer believes in the right to privacy.

The US government no longer believes in the declaration of independence, the bill of rights or the US constitution.

The US government doesn’t protect its citizens. It puts its citizens in danger because of its foreign policy.

The US government has given police absolute power. Police used to be servants to the people. Now, police officers are autocrats. We live under a policed state.

Incompetence, corruption, irresponsible ($17T in debt) & power hungry. All of these have been around for decades, now we can add Obtrusive, dishonest & naive. (These three apply to the NSA scandals on "gathering data". Out and out dishonesty covers Fast & Furious, Bengazi, the IRS scandal & Obamacare. Naive regarding Iran's giving up anything regarding their nuclear program.

Sure Don, that makes me feel sooooooooo safe. Too bad you couldn't ask the people jumping off the WTC's towers how "safe" they felt when obvious terrorists were allowed into the country and were trained at our flight training centers when FBI agents were questioning it. Do you think our diplomats in Bengazi felt they were being protected when the building was on fire?

What country you living in Don?

I have traveled half of the world.. Trust me on this, THE UNITED STATES IS BY FAR THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD..

Most of you are too ignorant to know better.

Now if you don't like all the benefits you get,, Freedom etc..  Don't let the door hit you on the way out.  You're like the guy at the buffet, eating, complaining about the cost, and yet wants more.

Freedom? Are you kidding me Don? Your phone, your internet, certainly if they wish to know what you watch on tv and soon all your medical records will be recorded and "evaluated" or "retrieved" whenever someone feels like it's warranted because big bro wishes to keep us "safe" and "healthy". Who's being ignorant here Don?

Everywhere you go, your on video. You really think your free? Nearly stripped searched to fly on a plane. Your identity is always vulnerable and the government really doesn't care about that or they'd actually do something about it.

Every time I use a debit card I think about if the machine is really the stores or did some digital thief hack into it or replace it altogether (see Target's 40M problems if you need some evidence).

BTW, I never eat at the buffet. Foods always old and I don't know who sneezed all over it before I got there, probably some government hack anyway.

I'm glad you feel so free, your illustration of you traveling the world and using that as an example compares to working in a sweat shop and being told I'm lucky to have a job.

Our freedoms are being eroded away on a daily basis, too bad your too naive to realize it.

Killer_B, our freedoms are already gone. The US is the best country by DEFAULT! The world is so damn screwed up.

Don, you've traveled the world? I have also been around. That means you have witnessed first hand what a fascist, socialist, communist country looks like?

You have seen what a fascist, socialist, communist country looks like in person and you still are a socialist democrat? WOW, you're incredibly stupid.

People from those countries come to this country to get away from fascist, socialist, communists. You are cheering for fascist, socialist, communist democrats in this country. This country is slowly transforming into the country all immigrants left from.

I know the republicans suck just as bad. What you should be doing is cheering for BOTH parties to fail.

The only way you keep and preserve freedom for the next generation is to jealously guard it and treat it as if it is always in jeopardy.  Something that the Obamapologists and GOP will not do.

The executive branch is an affront to liberty, as are those that would curtail the 1st amendment, abolish the 2nd amendment and pretend that the 4th amendment doesn't exist.
