Depends on who you ask. Right wingers saw them leftist tree huggers who were unable to formulate any form of coherent demonstrations or agenda.
Left wingers saw them as the typical anti-government libertarians who inevitably fail within their own hypocrisy.
Either way, they are just another footnote in vast history.

They're in a second wave of OWS now..after the first one petered out ..no more tents cities..(probably since they found out that the the FBI was closely monitoring their protest activities.)
They now have a hand full of OWS offshoots. There's Strike Debt,a wide-reaching movement to buy up and forgive the debt of average Americans who are struggling to make their payments. They plan to pay off the loans of ordinary people by working loopholes in the fixed income markets and the tax code.
Occupy Our Homes - staging sit-ins at properties in danger of foreclosure to help distressed homeowners stave off eviction.
Another is Occupy Sandy following Superstorm Sandy, organized to set up in communities to distribute water, food and other aid.
Groups of people went into homes and complexes without water to check on people and ask if they needed help.
Talk about a makeover ..

The Covers Occupy! ©™" movement was never about cut/paste alias littering the site,,
A Covers member does not have to be apart of the movement to know what it was about and how it started. It wasn't ever about cut/paste alias as you wrongly claim.
You are only spinning only a web of pure poppycock for the uninformed..
