Minimum wage is a bad idea. The market will set its own minimum wage via competition for workers.

The last 3 posts show your ignorance about business. The tighter you close your fist on your money, the less is in circulation.

Imagine for a moment that the minimum wage had not increased since, say, 1956.  The hourly pay the in my town was 1.15 an hour back then. The cost of goods would still increase because of energy prices. Repulsican lead congress would still vote to increase their own salary, as they did for 12 years, while voting against a minimum wage increase every single year..

We might as well be speaking Chinese, because this is what you are advocating. The whole system would spiral down to sweat shops, as almost happened in the 1930s and 40s. when the people said ENOUGH FOOLS ! And unionized.

Then why not just quit p u ssy footing around and just skip the nominal minimum wage increases and just go big?

Lets have minimum wage at 19.50 per hour. By your logic that's putting money into circulation right?

thank you don for answering my question directly... rather then using the tactic by the "usual suspects" that either cut-and-run or start making up childish lies to pin on people and then argue against them...

I think biden is not a serious candidate... nor is elizabeth warren...

tell me your thoughts on cuomo?

Minimum wage is like a stimulus injection to the people who need and will spend the money. Not only does it help the poorest workers, it helps the economy. And, it's better than giving another million to the wealthy to put in off shore accounts and call it a business.


you just proved my point about getting more and more senile as your days tick down...it speaks for itself...

hope the bed sores are manageable and they don't turn the lights off too early in "the home"

Cuomo is a chip off the old block, a Democrat through and through. However, Hillary and Biden are too popular for him, he would make a great VP candidate though 

Don't kid yourself, watch Biden's every  move carefully, he would love to be president someday. Elizabeth Warren is a smart cookie and has higher aspirations. She would be a great candidate for VP too,  if Hillary doesn't run for some medical reason.

The handwriting is on the wall, Hillary and VP Biden /or Cuomo

If she gets ill then Biden/ VP Warren or Cuomo
