We need a Mamdani Thread

This entire thing is fascinating to me for a ton of reasons.  Feel free to comment or add:

1) In the short clips I've heard, this dude is sharp, slick, informed, and educated.

2) I didn't realize the "wealthy" in NY are paying 50%.  What's interesting about the 52% proposal is that it mirrors the tax NY imposes upon sports books

3)  Free buses bring problems (right talking point).  If you want to do this, just make the free ones a certain color or distinguished and you can elect to use or avoid.

4)  Cuomo as an independent and getting crushed.

So it really looks like this will happen and while some intentions are good I think overall could be problematic for NY.  While some of them do go to Florida and Texas, most of them end up in my back yard proposing the same nonsense they just fled.  So for me its:

The beautiful thing if that were true -would be that you guys could rejoin the “correct” side of history in antifa ! But for now we are probably locked into Trump being the facist -_- even though I for one could see the beauty in that alternate reality 

But tbh I think most Americans should be happy it is an old “chicken” like Trump in charge of that clown show! JD Vance will be a lot worse ! Mamdani is a socialist who allows for capitalism.  Not a communist seeking public ownership of all property.  Sweden and Iceland are not communist countries for having free bus, subsidized childcare and building of affordable housing.  In socialism, nation serves individuals.  But in fascism, individuals serve nation.
