Walz says banning men from women's sports is "cruel".

  Minnesota’s Democratic Gov. Tim Walz faced backlash from conservatives on social media after denouncing Tuesday’s Supreme Court ruling on transgender athletes in women’s sports by calling it "cruel."

 What’s cruel is making a teenage girl, already uncomfortable in her own skin, change in a locker room next to a naked boy," Minnesota Republican state Sen. Julia Coleman posted on X. "What’s cruel is letting our girls get the s--- kicked out of them by biological males on the field and lose out on scholarships and more chances to compete. What’s cruel is putting your base above female safety and opportunities."

Tim Walz calls it ‘cruel’ that the Supreme Court ruled to protect young girls and keep men out of their sports," a Republican National Committee account posted on X. "What’s actually ‘cruel’ is advocating for the gender mutilation of children and letting men in their locker rooms you sicko."

 He has to be pandering to the alphabets. Seriously, anyone that has competed in any physical activity on any level above middle school......& is honest with themselves......knows that men don't belong in women's sports. This guy claims he coached HS football. His political career is over, for all intents & purposes, so why he's pandering is anyone's guess.

So we have a current world energy crisis an economy based on Bitcoin, food insecurity shelter crisis rampant homeless population, cities in chaos...so the big priority is if a boy plays in girl sports....

I feel republicans should address priorities.... If women's sports in secondary schools really is your concern perhaps the local PTA and school board is a better platform then a party plank ....

Under 0.002% of athletes are transgender in school sports.  Statistically insignificant, they are massively underrepresented in sports and are not a threat to normal females.  According to Sports medicine journal, no scientific evidences support laws from politicians to ban trans females in sports.  Contrary to belief, trans athletes have physical disadvantages when competing against normal females.  Rather than protect females, trans bans encourage discrimination, bullying and violence.  In political weaponization, females have been falsely accused of being transgender.
