Right - would be considered treason or terrorism. The founders gave us a great framework but like Franklin said, it's up to us to keep it & make it work. Rule of law, elected representation, separation of powers, impeachment process, bill of rights, etc. Sure, we have the "right" to start a revolution (tho it has nothing to do with the 2nd A) & overthrow the govt, but what then even if it could be done? What would be structurally better than what we have already as a foundation? No doubt, we have many serious probs especially with the special interests & money that's basically co-opted the democratic/representative process, but it's still up to us to vote in & out who we want & try to get folks in who will uphold the law & constitution and hold other politicians accountable. I know, sounds almost impossible & like a foreign concept these days. Probably why I don't comment much anymore - our political system is broke imo & all that surrounds it..media, etc just seems semi sick, divisive almost for the sake of being divisive in alot of cases & childish ![]()
