That was not my take on reading the content. My take was that first Uniman was looking for another liberal attack thread and that of course is true as it is his sole approach to posting here.
Then my thought was that the total funding used was of course not 100% for migrants, that is an exaggeration. Then my thought was what should Mass do? Should Mass just let migrants hang around in the streets? Should they unlawfully arrest them? What is the correct course of action? Why are we dehumanizing migrants and making it a political weapon to partisan divide as we see here all the time? And why is the use of funds for housing the ONLY source of VA funds? Why are you RNC guys not henpecking all of the state outlays and demanding more be spent for VA benefits and use? The whole Army/Navy game thing is a scam, people can find hotels it just means you have to travel further or get creative it isnt like that is some massively attended game and I am sure there are options out there even with this situation.
It gets old seeing partisan attacks here, that some of you guys want nothing more than to find opportunity to put another side down and elevate yourselves as if you are any better than those you put down. Newsflash you are not better, your partisan positions are as flawed as theirs...that is the reality.

The real question is; Why do we allow millions to just walk across our border without some kind of system or plan???? Are we supposed to fill all our hotels with those that just walk in? For how long? Who pays for it, the deficit? To offer one asylum from persecution or oppersion is one thing, to openly allow millions is stupid. It impacts the entire country. What free hotels did these poor dehumanized folks stay at on the way here?

You didnt answer the questions of course because you were not asking out of concern you made the thread to provoke and complain about liberals as you always do. The answer to the border is not to point fingers at liberals to point fingers at migrants to build a multi trillion dollar wall to blame illegals for VA benefits (especially since VA benefits have been an issue since the Vietnam war) in a nutshell ANY partisan solution is NO solution. The country will not be successful with a partisan divided angry selfish collection of citizens.

We have discussed this so many times, why do I need to go off on other threads when the purpose of those threads is inclusive of that group? When you go into those Biden threads and try to provoke it isnt accomplishing anything, they are not engaging with you and it is a waste of your time. They arent breaking the rules they are not insulting specific members or attacking members with their content. The reason why ANY member gets boxed is always the same, it is when they attack or provoke other members and if you are trying to draw conclusions as I keep seeing you do over and over then realize that one group in this section is very very annoying, they are inclusive and unapproachable, there is little of any debatable content there and they are not wanting to debate..but they arent breaking the rules. There is another group who is partisan just the same but they attack other members, insulting and degrading, making things about the member and not the topic.
One group seems unable to contain their emotions and go off the rails because the other group bugs them..the other group while annoying is able to control themselves and thus get in trouble less.
The reality is I cannot make people engage I cant make them interact or debate and I cant and wont box people for agreeing with each other and posting boring unimportant content.

The averaging funding in Mass. for emergency shelter was under $200 million per year during the Trump administration. For 2024 $324 million is budgeted and Mass. is currently spending $45 million a month on emergency shelter. If it remains at this level that would be $540 million per year, $216 million over budget. And $340+ million per year over the Trump years cost. So yah, that entire $324 mil budgeted goes to migrants.
And what should we expect? As more illegal entries are made and they find out the State of Massachusetts guarantees a roof over your head at state's expense, what do you think?? I say it keeps rising.

Not the point, you threw out a chomping bit of info and it was exaggerated. My comment was on point and it was easy, you always exaggerate to make a partisan point..always. So yes the FULL budget was not 100% spent on migrant shelter, that was my point and I dont care about Trump or Biden this and that it is meaningless.
Why are you mad at that and try to tie in the VA with the subject? What should the state do, illegally arrest them? Given they are in this situation should they retaliate like Texas and hire busses and take them to a rest stop in rural Texas and let them out?

If you feel someone is attacking you personally and breaking the rules of the site please report the post and it will be looked at. Consider this though, if you are acting similarly or worse the complaint will be weighed against you as well. So translation is be the BETTER person, stop attacking other members and then honestly report rules being broken. That we will investigate and consider.

During Trump's four years in office there were just under 1.98 million encounters for the full four years.
Now under Biden that number is easliy exceeded every 10 months. And yes, it is Biden's fault. Just looking at his campaign promises prior to his election shows that.
And why should I bring up the VA?
Again, the Losers and Suckers repetitions. Here we have folks spreading unproven remarks while a 90+ year old veteran is kicked out of a nursing home, military families have reservations cancelled, all because total mismanagement of this administration. So who are the suckers now? How about those kicked out of the military because of a flu shot?
What should the state do? Send Biden the bill. And revise their policies so as not to create an attractive freebie. Think it's great they lookout for those needing "emergency shelter".

You do not like to hear this but I will keep saying it. The economic backdrop for one vs the other is quite different. You had FOUR years of the reign of Grimace, if the king of real estate wanted to build the stupid wall then he would have because he can do anything...thats what he thinks. The reality is he has no agenda other than pointing fingers at others. He has catch phrases he has slogans and he has marketing material but as to a solid real agenda the guy has zero. His term was spent on social media and golfing than building a wall so that catch phrase is tired and meaningless. A wall wont solve a problem, the country as a whole both political sides need to agree to a long term, very expensive and difficult decision if we want to isolate as a country. It is not a wandering slobbering campaign talk where you wax poetic and blame someone it is a multi TRILLION and multi decade commitment to doing something in the correct way and as it stands now that is not going to happen.
So should Mass load busses and drop the migrants off on the remote rest stop in Texas the same way Texas has in reverse? Yeah good idea...make a partisan abusive decision and treat the migrants like a political pawn, like their lives are not worth consideration.

Oh gotcha the VA issues are only new under Biden...right. I think that has been proven wrong for the last 50 years. The VA is a mess because the demand is greater than the supply and it is not funded and staffed to deal with the massive demand it is faced with. So the issues with the VA are all Trump's fault, using your logic its just blame someone time and so it has to be Trump.
