I saw last night that Olberman is going to be on Letterman tonite.

The only time I watch Letterman all year.

On letterman tonite I've never seen someone effectively blame everything on himself and in the next breath blame everything on everyone else but himself.

In his blame of himself he only blamed himself for not being able to see this coming.

I think that is where you go wrong in your partisan paradigm... when you try to generalize people as conservative/liberal and then insist based on partisan stance that they must all have a type of thinking...



As an independent thinker, I think of fox "news" and msnbc are basically the same thing and exist because the other does... 

As for Palin I think it is scary that people actually thought that she was suited for executive branch leadership...  I do not feel that way about all GOP politicians... just like I am not against or for every democrat...

My first choice for president is Ron paul, but then I am not going to blindly jump on what ever candidate is GOP...  I am going to take a look at the history and what they seem to think about specific issues that are of significance to me personally...  And if the GOP candidate seems to give actual solutions to the problems I would like fixed, has a world view more similar to mine and is willing to address issues that are personally important to me I will vote for that candidate...

I know that is a hard process of decision making for someone that will simply vote, think, and believe what their partisan prescribes their masses to believe...  Usually why you cut and run when ever the discussion transcends partisan talking points and bickering
