Biden's border calmed down 40% during election year when he finally clamped down on asylum seekers after saying for years there was nothing he could do. Voters saw through the lie and elected Trump. In May 8725 total border encounters, a 93% decrease from May of 2024.

For decades, past presidents wisely prioritize deporting criminals instead of all illegal immigrants. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than US born citizens and south border towns have lower crime rates. Most immigrants lived in the US for over a decade. Contributing as workers, tax payers, consumers and entrepreneurs. In the long term, economists consider immigration (legal and illegal) positive for US economy.
