Absolutely! HUGE CONTRAST! The moment she walked onto the stage of their only debate, Harris immediately walked over to the very surprised convicted felon and extended her hand. THAT was class! And widely reported at the time.

Yup, but the President's absolute criminal immunity in "official acts" from the conservative Supreme Court justices is humongous. Trump will have absolute power to act with the backing from those super majority GOP Supreme Court Justices. Trump won the popular votes this time, plus the Republican controlled Congress, and backing by the super majority conservative SCOTUS. Wow, it's surely and deeply concerning.

Democrats currently have 213 US House seats, and Associated Press has called Dems won 212 seats for 2024 as of now. I guess Dems should gain at least two or more seats as dust settled, which means Dems will gain more than one seat from the Republicans in this election. In this case, although Dems will not regain the House majority but Dems will more seats over GOP.
I think they lost a seat by the numbers overall...

Seriously though, I think the seat was traditionally blue and only flipped at the midterm. A conservative democrat had held the seat before that for something like 14 or 16 years.

Slim GOP majority should make more Republican concessions or negotiations with Democrats House Reps in some key legislations. A twenty seats GOP House majority will deem Dems more feeble and negligible, for at least two years, than a five seats GOP majority.
Associated Press has called Dave Min (D) the winner of CA 47, Democrats won 213 seats as of now. CA 13, another toss up seat could also be called within couple of days. I think Adam Gray wins a nail biter in the end which will shrink Republicans House to a paper thin majority.
Among those three remaining U.S. House open races, chances are Republicans will win Iowa-1 District, Democrats grab California-13 and California-45 District. In this case, Democrats will win 215 seats and Republicans win 220 seats.
