Heard from the various media, former Pres. Obama has raised his concerns over Pres. Biden's viability to win the 2024 campaign has greatly diminished. Obama thinks Biden should seriously consider his presidential candidacy.

For the Presidency, she is +600 and Jeo is +850.

Trumps odds were in the $1.50 - $1.70 range 2 weeks ago.... laying -280 now.

Yep.  Plenty of moving parts.  I believe Obama and Pelosi and Schiff and many others Dem officials are correct in their assessment that while Biden did a very credible job after inheriting the worst DISASTER in modern history (from failed trump admin) - our ageless QB has scored his last touchdown for TEAM AMERICA and it's time for him to hang up the cleats and accept retirement. 

I've stated this here before prior to this year, and even prior to trump being found guilty of $464 MILLION FRAUD and by a jury of rape!

I've addressed my concerns and leans toward a major bet in the "Presidential Greatness..." thread (in 3 parts)

The better party to lead America in a choice over the anti-democracy/trump-FASCIST party is obvious - regardless who the Dem leader is.

But that DOES NOT GUARANTEE THEY *WILL*

In fact the recent attempt on the fascist leader's life (by a republican!) will be twisted so much so as to skyrocket fundraising off it and blow away the goodguys on that basis alone! 

UNLESS Gov. GAVIN NEWSOM takes over - soon! - the fascist will win the WH and that is how I will PROFIT BIGLY!!!

Of course he must also have significant control of both chambers too or he's a virtual lame duck caught in congressional gridlock, save for enforcing his petty vengeance and retribution against all who dared to tell the truth about him.

I still must wait to see if there is the dreaded "October Surprise" but in preparation I have recently begun making hundreds of smallish bets on my new offshore accounts (most cancel each other out so I only lose on juice) so as to upset any algorithms about my betting patterns that could cause an unnecessary LOW max bet on the election and to ease any realistic chance of a "red flag" on my accounts.

Because all bets are tied up until mid-December, when VP Harris calls for Certification, I can't tie up my FULL BR on this bet!  I still have CFB and NFL at that time and need a sizable acct for those!  So, given my caveats, I suspect I'll likely throw about $38k to $53k in the pot and score a nice profit based on whatever the odds will be in late October....

If NEWSOM is not recruited to takeover (or maybe even Gov. Whittmer) then I am solid with my plans here (pending possible October Surprise)

*But, for America's sake, I truly hope I am wrong and I LOSE my bet.

Vice president Kamala Harris may not beat Trump in November, but the way I see from Dems' presidential nominee it will be Harris if not Biden. Sure, I could be wrong again. I will say, we should not underestimate the wrath of woman voters who got ripped away their heath care and freedom of choices by GOP. I'll never wish ill luck to your bets on the election, dogs has won the last couple of presidential elections. Ukraine, NATO, women, girls, democracy, Supreme Court, .... so much essentials are in stake on November.

 Biden withdrawing his nomination will lead to an Open convention for DNC.  If he doesn't resign and only withdraws nomination, means NOT replacing him with Kamala so the whole ticket is open for grabs.  

They can't replace Kamala with a white privileged devil man like Gavin.  Can't skip Kamala to pair Newsome with Gretchen even as I don't think the Squad arm of the DNC will go along with that.  

I don't know Newsome well but I'd venture to guess he's not interested in a last minute call to become VP for some other State's current Governor (like PA's Shapiro).  

So, word on the street is it will come down to Kamala and 3-4 other names to get the new nomination, then VP's from there.  

On November 5th, Collier County, FL banned over 300 books. One of the books banned is "Shopgirl" which was written by Steve Martin in 2000. Man, that seems so long ago.

Anyway when Martin heard the news, he responded by saying "So proud to have my book Shopgirl banned in Collier County, Florida. Now people who want to read it, have to buy it."

Ya gotta know that people will now want to read it!!

Of course you need to be a citizen to vote....imagine voting for power to be in another country even though you live in the US...this is so comical....prove that you are who you say you are so your vote can be counted....this is not rocket science and anyone opposing that should get a clue on the intent of what voting stands for....voting resides for the citizens of that country, period...I cannot even believe this has to be stated as such...

In every state non-citizens are already ineligible to vote in federal elections under U.S. law.  Exception is that cities have the right to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.  No evidence supports claims of widespread voting fraud.  House republicans election bill is a solution for non-exis ting problem.  However courts found that voting suppression is a far greater problem than rare voting fraud.

If it's not a big deal, then why is it a big deal? I'm alsonof the firm believe that illegals aren't risking deportation to go punch some ballot. However, what's wrong with having a system of proper identification in order to cast a ballot?

Vast majority of states already require ID to vote.  Others use other methods to verify identity.  For examples, signature verification, utility bill, bank statement or government document.  Federal law requires first time voters to show ID for mail voting.  Problem is that  millions of eligible voters lack government photo IDs.  For examples, young, old, disabled and minorities.  Burden should be on government to provide them with IDs.  States increase voting suppression by making voting harder.

In order to garner more votes, you would intend to expand the tent and are more inclusive during the political campaign. However, Trump is seemly practicing the opposite.   

If these millions of voters lack govt Id's then how are they collecting all their welfare $$?? I'll give you the young (for their age) and minorities (for legal status)

 Some just don't care that one should have to prove who they are to vote....

It's no different than proving who you are to work

It's no different than the proving who you are to travel

It's no different than proving who you are to obtain benefits

And so on....so many areas in life are about proving who you are...and when you can't or won't or refuse to do so you should be denied the right to what you think you deserve

It's the old adage conundrum of whether or not voting is a right or a privilege...its a civil right, yes, but it is a privilege that can be taken away from you under certain circumstance...if you're too young, have a felony, not a citizen, etc., therefore voting is a right if you satisfy the requirements to do so...those opposed may claim there is no widespread illegal voting but that is the wrong approach of looking at it...even if one person casts a ballot who does not have the right or privilege to then there is a problem...without measures, systems or rules in place then who are we as people...

If anyone is opposing having to prove who you are to vote for your vote to count doesnt care about principles of a society where one must prove who they are not you are entitled because you are here...in a country full of illegal people why would one ever think it is a detriment to ask its citizens to prove who you are to ensure your vote can count....its mind boggling to me...

A UScitizen should never be opposed to having a system in place that only benefits its citizens or is only for its citizens...elections for presidency are every 4 years on set date so it is not like elections creep up and catch you off guard...a citizen interested in voting has many many months to get their affairs in order to be able to prove that you are who you say you are...if unfortunate circumstances occur close to election time that prevent you from being able to prove who you are then those are the breaks..you have a choice to mail in...

It's not a perfect system when there are circumstances such as that,  but it is a system and should be supported by all eligible citizen...if you support otherwise then you should question what kind of citizen you are that would allow a right and privilege to only its  citizens to be given to those who may not be a citizen...

Prove who you are, not even sure why this is am issue really...

Pres. Biden is out of the race, chances are VP Kamala Harris will move up to the ticket. I would say, a Kamala Harris- Josh Shapiro ticket will rise up.
