At least two brands have said they will suspend advertising on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, after their ads and those of other companies were run on an account promoting fascism. The issue came less than a week after X CEO Linda Yaccarino publicly affirmed the company’s commitment to brand safety for advertisers.

My wife is an alumna of Michigan State & we make an annual donation to the College of Veterinary Medicine. We have visited the facility a number of times & the last time we were there, students were treating a giraffe with a sore throat. No shit, a sore throat!
Anyway, I always see so many young women working there & here are some facts about the students in this year's class.
The class size is 113
52 class members are Michigan residents; 61 are from out of state.
Class age ranges from 20-39
The class is 92% women & 7% are men (don't know about the other 1%)
31% are first generation college students.
15 languages are spoken
When you really look at the numbers, there are some incredible facts about our future. People as old as 39 are starting new careers in an extremely difficult field. An astounding % of women are entering the field where there is a sad % of men interested. Homes that have never sent a family member to college are now doing so which I find outstanding. Lastly, the number of languages spoken attests to how immigrants are participating in the American dream.
We do a lot of bitchin in this forum, so I wanted to share something positive about a segment of our society that will be taking care of our family members in the future. HAPPY FRIDAY!
