Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney to the disgraced ex-President
Donald Trump, met Tuesday with the Manhattan district attorney’s office,
the clearest sign that  prosecutors are zeroing in on the Trump Org’s
involvement in hush-money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels
in the weeks leading to the 2016 presidential election.

Cohen said,  “The meeting went very well.”
“It appears that I’ll probably be meeting with them again.” 

The focus of the DA’s investigation has returned to the
$130,000 payment made to Daniels to stop her from
going public about an affair with Trump just before the
2016 election, people familiar with the matter said.

DirecTV drops Newsmax!!

New York CNN —

DirecTV has dropped Newsmax, a right-wing TV network,
from its channel lineup.
Newsmax disappeared from the lineup early Tuesday morning,
affecting 13 million customers who use DirecTV’s satellite service,
DirecTV Stream and U-Verse.

In response to getting the boot,  

Newsmax accused DirecTV of bias and censorship. 

Last year, OAN, the right-wing conspiracy channel favored by
Trump, was also dropped by DirecTV — because of its constant
promotion of misinformation.

Nothing to see here.   Nope.

Eliminating training for CCW licensing is questionable at best.  Is a CCW class needed for individuals who were raised and properly trained on the use of firearms throughout their lives?  NO.    

But for every Tom, Dick & Jane moving to Florida and/or the freshly minted 21 year old chad looking to pack a heater, that is another story.  Not a big fan of this one.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Tuesday that he intends
to ban state universities from spending money on diversity,
equity and inclusion initiatives in hopes that they will
“wither on the vine” without funding.

Since the Daily Beast story broke, Matt and Mercedes,
who were regulars on Fox News and Fox Business,
have completely disappeared from the air.

Fox News has yet to cover the groping allegation.

Courts have blocked dystopian anti-woke laws for infringing on academic freedom and first amendment rights.   Diversity and inclusion education is simply empathy and understanding history while anti-woke is pro discrimination indoctrination.  Being woke or politically correct is a good thing encouraged by Jesus.  But DeSantis thinks wokeness is destroying America by engaging in radical behavior like  critical thinking about society and making the world a less awful place for marginalized people.  Anything contrary to right wing ideology is woke and unacceptable to extremists.
