I am not disputing this stat as I truly don't know BUT

You are using the Huffington Post as your source so your argument is automatically invalid

Interestingly MSNBC watchers appeared to misidentify the occupy movement as GOP more often...

But people who used these new sources appeared to be better informed on some of the issues...

Sunday morning news programs
NY times
Daily Show
USA Today
NPR


I think of Fox news like rap music... it is not the music that creates the world view, but certain people with a certain world view listen/follow the music...

and this garbage is nothing more then talking points and  Mindless Repetitive phrases

The worst is not the people the listen to the crap, or even the people that put it out, but the infantile attempts at trying to produce themselves

fox news is a joke

but the fact that you believe anything out of the huffpo is even more of a joke

fox news is viewed by millions and millions of people around the states

your study sampled 612 people in new jersey

im sure i will be reading about this ground breaking study in the journal of science

I don't qualify the huff post as a particularly reliable source all the time but an interesting survey nonetheless.

I think this says more about people in New Jersey than it does about a national news network, but I have no bias to confirm. 

I think that in all actuality those who watch just one news network will be woefully deficient in actual news, and have views that are in line with what that network is pushing.  

I think a diversified portfolio of news sources would probably keep one more informed.

an interesting survey bc the left wing media highlights the questions where foxnews veiwers did worse than msnbc viewers, and makes no mention of the questions where foxnews viewers did better than msnbc viewers????

props to dl for enlightening us on the real results of the survey and not a cherry picked result in an attempt to belittle the "other side"

Thats not really surprising. Just look at the nutjobs we have in this forum who are fox news junkies.  If you have a differnt opinion then they have, they tell you that they are smarter then you

whats really not surprising is another lefty on here thinks the article is on to something and doesnt realize the article only mentioned some of the survey results that cast foxnews viewers in a negative way, vs msnbc, and makes no mention of the results that cast msnbc viewers in a negative way, vs foxnews.

let me give you an example to make this easier on you to understand, this is tantamount to cherry picking the 1st half score of a game and saying since team a is ahead by 8 points, they are better than team b, and completely ignoring the second half when team b beats team a.

let me enlighten you about something. People that watch msnbc are probably as dumb as the people who watch fox news, both channels arent real news stations and are basically just entertainment channels no differnt then watching howard stern or keeping up with the kardashians
