When Specter switched to the Democratic Party, Obama pledged, “He will have my full support." ...But when Obama deemed Specter's election prospects too risky for President Obama's personal involvement.....White House politely rebuffed Specter several times, saying the president simply couldn’t carve out the time for a 45-minute flight to visit Philadelphia to support him in person..

So, ol' Arlen had to settle for an image of Obama on a campaign ad proclaiming “I love Arlen Specter”............LMAO
