This is a pretty funny thread...

I am not sure if the OP made this as a joke to show how weak this talking point was or if he was serious

LOL yet another idiotic GOP talking point. You wonder why nobody takes you seriously? What next a thread about Obama's birth certificate?

No matter who is President they travel with the whole 9 yards, protection, planes, etc for themselves and their family. When you are the most powerful man (or in 3 years woman) in the world that is what you get. Presidents are never "on vacation doing nothing". They get regular briefings and talk to world leaders. Think if garbage gets real Obama will send a text "on vacation will reply when I am back in a week". Get real. Though based on this thread you probably won't.

Maybe if you run a real candidate in 2016 you may be able to defend your guy on taking a vacation.

What is George W. Bush doing now? I mean, the whole world knows what Carter's and Clinton's work to make the planet a better place.
God knows, Bush must make amends for his crimes and he is doing what?
Heard he was painting? Guess he tries to forget the 100.000s people he has killed.
    What a vacation.

It's understandable that people could be wrong about Obama's daughters age ..

Two years ago even President Obama didn't know how old his own daughter Malia was.....

During a big news conference at the White House on June 29th 2011 President Obama suggested that his daughters, who “generally finish their homework a day ahead of time,” could serve as role models for members of Congress.

"Malia’s 13, Sasha’s 10," the president said, "It is impressive. They don't wait until the night before. They're not pulling all-nighters. They're 13 and 10."  said Obama .

Malia was 12 at the time ..her birthday is in the next week in the month of July.

The information I have on her age came from a government source in Washington, along with the trip info. The main stream media dumped the story and the secret service made sure every blog and website that carried the story was dumped. They used security as the reason. This presidency is the most corrupt presidency in modern times.

Wow, bama was really in trouble on the ropes here with multiple posters calling him out on his thread...

Thankfully Sara came rushing into bail him out so he wouldn't have to address the things people posted...

I mean he really looked like he was in a pickle and had to be responsible and accountable for why he posted...

typical deflections here by the Obama apologists.... well bush...

According to a new report by the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), President Barack Obama has spent over twice as many hours on vacation and golf (976 hours) as he has in economic meetings of any kind (474.4 hours). (through march 31, 2013)

the obamas vacations have cost 1.4 billion annually

"Obama took 13 vacations in his first term, which spanned all or part of 83 days. But they have been much more lavish than Bush's. His annual vacations to Hawaii alone have cost taxpayers at least $20 million during his first term. In 2011 alone, Michelle Obama may have cost taxpayers $10 million on vacations herself. Obama's fantasy golf outing this year cost local law enforcement in Florida a reported $78, 205."

he just went to Africa mid june... now he's going on another.   and the important aspect is the cost.  I mean, what does it take for any of you libs to at least admit 'yeah, it's a little too much'.  it's not about what bush did or how much it cost.  it's about what you (liberal/conservative) want your president doing with how bad things are right now!!!   you don't criticize Obama for anything.  it's like trying to reason with a 3 year old

Peraski ,I think you meant the total cost of Obama living in the White House....would be 1.4B annually.

Well, I've had enough fun for one day bashing the community organizer. In the end the Democrats will be Democrats and the Republicans will be Republicans and neither will see things the same. Democrats have no reasoning power, therefore, they do not realize that they are being used. They are like a heard of goats, they follow their leader aimlessly and one day it will be over a cliff. The sad thing is they won't realize it until they hit bottom.

On an unrelated note -- My daughter was with my parents tonight and the wife and I had a night out . We went to an Oyster Bar and I had a very good whiskey cocktail. Wish I remembered what was in it but it was great .  Cool story huh?

I can tell it again if anybody is interested.

this thread just get funnier and funnier...

especially once the heat got turned up with people responding and the multiple attempts at a "bail out"... then the typical "cut-and-run"...

you would think that these "usual suspects" would come up with a new playbook...

This reminded me of the woopWelcher alias and how he would make threads on topics like this and the same basic strategy with the same "usual suspects" coming rushing in to hoping to "bail him out" once he was a made a fool of yet again...

    good stuff...

I am also curious about what you guys drink in the summer? I am a BIG IPA fan. Really love the punch of the hops etc... However, I live in Texas and every year it seems more and more difficult for me to enjoy a nice IPA in the summer. It is just too much for me these days.

What are the solutions? I have been out of the "non-IPA beer" game for so long that I do not even know where to begin.

You've got to be kidding right? Isn't this the exact thing you want? The free market at work and a guy making money through the private sector? Now your going to criticize that?

And clearly he left office in disgrace considering the awesome leadership we have had since he left.

But hey, I understand. It's cool for Bush and Co. to make money through contracts supporting the war efforts, but not cool for Clinton to make money.

    Not hypocritical at all.

This is the most ironic thing said in the forum. Not just because you said it towards liberals but because everyone in this forum feels this way towards anyone they disagree with.

Now you know how I feel when some middle age man preaches being against abortion (especially for religious reasons) then rails against having to support welfare programs.
