my friend who won 300k at the Borgata open or whatever itw as recently in some 1k event at the Borgata yesterday. Apparently my friend says to Phillips, hey arent you the guy who is the chip leader at the Final table in NOV? The guy just gives him a dirty look....so my friend is puzzled and says something (nothing bad again) and Phillips just gives him another dirty look. Now I have no idea if maybe something happened before this to cause this but what a freakin prick...best part is this...

My friend Anthony's  buddy walks by and he tells the kid the story...and the kid says outloud right to the guys face something like this..."what bullshit, you always have miserable fucks winning the WSOP. This guy is a miserable fuck and he is chip leader at the final table, what a bunch of shit."

    Apparently the guy said nothing.

Im sure if something had transpired before hand I would have heard about it to cause this guy to look at my friend that way, but outside of maybe getting upset over someone's play (I have no idea), why would this guy be a prick like that. Im not saying he has to broadcast who he is, but geez, why act like a dick when someone says that.

I for sure wont be rooting for him come NOV

I've seen Hachem bitch a lot about bad luck, but I haven't seen him go after a ton of others ala Hellmuth.  Maybe I need to watch more poker.  Maybe it's that way for everyone, but the year after he won the main event, he went deep a LOT and got screwed more then anyone I watched on TV.  What can I say, I like him as a player.

I can't stand to watch/listen to Hachem and all of his moaning and bitching.  Hell I prefer to watch Matusow or Hellmouth any day.  Raymer seems to be a good player and a nice guy.  I think he is better than the rest of the recent winners of the main event.

Hachem bitches and moans after every bad beat and acts like he's never gotten lucky any hand. I've seen worst, but I would never say "...the Joe Hachems of the world."

Hachem speaks the truth, he just says things out loud that a lot of people say to themselves. It makes the game much more interesting when players think out loud. He is a nice guy, and never really attacks anyone. Just kinda moans about how unlucky he is. He also is the first one that admits when he does get lucky. Still a solid player in my opinion.
