I can't believe that Scalabrine didn't pull up any of the stories from right here in the USA that had white doctors using their own sperm to impregnate women when they were supposed to be using husbands and other selected specimens. There were more than a few guys who got arrested for this.

You should read up on this guy. And Scal's estimate of 600 could be a reach. Not that conceiving 300 kids is good by any means, the number given in his linked article is an estimate between 300-600. Not 600 exactly or even necessarily in the ball park.

Well, I would think there are certain conditions responsibilities that are required for running a sperm donation clinic.
The donors are typically not know personally so that there is no emotional connection between the receiving parents and resulting children and the father who donated. If this man failed to disclose that he'd be the donor to 600 women, that is deception of the highest order and a violation of trust of the recipient.
Secondly, he failed to disclose that he was the father to potentially 600 children (you can go with your lower bound number. I'll take the higher bound, which given the fact he was the one handling the dissemination of sperm itself (his own), and the resulting progeny count could be much much higher. If woman # 501...#502...#503 (or just start with #101...#102... wherever), knew this man had 500 previous children through this clinic and the potential for local incestual relationships was a legitimate possibility, in addition to the fact she would be raising yet another child of man that would make Abraham in the Bible blush, she would have the right to deny the receipt of his sperm.
This all results in a slew of parents who can claim they were mislead in a class-action lawsuit; one a lawyer would be happy to take.
What could that result in? Potential custody by the world's number one deadbeat dad who recklessly 'donated' his sperm to 600 women who likely knew nothing of the sort.
That is duplicity and yet another 'white-collar' crime that no one recognizes a 'crime' at all because of white privilege.
