Dubs 3rd Q...another goldmine when the game is close at half
Using a 9pt or less margin at half time, the Dubs have cashed on 22 3rd Q WINS on their home court; so far this season...a 'goldmine' indeed...good call/information

SportsNetwork...add Nuggets 3rd Q as another season long goldmine given a similar close game at half, especially at home....BigD is in the process of copyrighting that play

Pistons +4.5 and ML +155...this is an inflated line towards Charlotte in my opinion solely based on each teams play in their respective last games....Charlotte looked great while Detroit looked awful...in todays modern NBA, this is the typical spot where they play opposite of their previous performance...both of these teams are mediocre at best, and for teams like these, stringing 2 wins together seems like an impossibility.

UCLA -3.5....do they end up doing to Colorado on the road what Colorado did to them earlier this season on the road? Revenge road win? Help me out fellas with all this bracketology nonsense...is UCLA a tournament team? Are they still in this thing and are they still motivated to play hard and win? The Pac12 seems so home court heavy that taking a road fav in this price range is always a bad bet...looking for counsellors to talk me out of backing these spoiled and pampered kids from LA.

Colorado is not a good team, I have watched them play about 6-8 times this season and they play sloppy ball especially in their last 3 games. UCLA needs a win here, a loss today will hurt them a lot, i would have no problem backing UCLA today, same with NC State, both need to win today.
My game today is Rutgers..GL

Good call on zona last night, d. I can’t believe they didn’t win that outright. I have a feeling that’s really going to impact them the rest of the way.
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

Excellent stats on the Nuggets 3rd Q WINS this season, the formula you described appears to have a strong winning % The Dubs have cashed on 22 of 31 home court 3rd Q's equivalent to 71% Element of the handicap: the position on the scoreboard (using a ceiling of 9pts) of the Nuggets & Dubs @ haftime... just saying
In reference to the other 28 teams, what is their ranking on 3rd Q WINS for the season, both home, and away combined? do you by chance have this data available? If not, I'll update you when I put the rankings together...I cap the NBA 3rd Q play daily, using many formulas, attached to an array of teams, appreciate your formulated info...good stuff

I think its far too late in the season now to find new 3rd Q money gravy trains...Dubs and Nuggets have been both a 70% win rate and anyone who frequents this thread should be making significant profits betting just these 2 wagers when the situation is there....two other teams ive tracked 3rd Q are Philly and Toronto...when both are up double digits at halftime, taking their opponents blindly for 3rd Q has been a very profitable wager this season.

Penn St Over 123.5....both ingame wagers at halftime...expect regression to the original lines for both spread and totals...Nebraska should hold on for a 6-10pt win with the total landing around 130....rare that both spread and total catches my eye in the same game, but i have to trust the process and expect a much better effort from Penn St in the 2nd H.

Dru...in all seriousness, thanks for the kind words buddy...means alot to me knowing there are others here who appreciate my sincere and humble attempts at beating the books together with all you guys here...this thread has made me a much better sports bettor in general, taught me more discipline than i ever had before, and i must admit that international hoops ingame wagering has indeed become my area of expertise, along with halftime wagering/beginning of 2nd Q wagering ingame with college and the pros...i rarely enjoy betting games pretipoff anymore because of the true unknown as to how teams will perform in the opening Q or half...the future of sports wagering, atleast in hoops, is all about live ingame wagering and finding the sweet spot where the +EV within a game almost becomes an autobet, and then let the chips fall where they may...but betting pregame nowadays seems like betting blind just looking for junkie action...and i will never place a single pregame wager ever if there is not live ingame wagering options available...those days are long behind me, and i hope people realize the importance and long term profitability of utilizing ingame wagering strategies when the opportunities present themselves.
Perfect example:
Okc vs Sac recently...Okc won the first Q something like 40-18 right? No matter what you think of each team, Sac +19.5 was an autobet after the 1st Q...the books have to offer a line, but gifts like these are where people like us have to take advantage of anytime we can....if OKC were to maintain that level for the entire game and win by 40...so be it, however getting that many +EV points should never be passed up on, regardless of the team or scenario.

I have evolved too, and it is because of this thread. Like you, I feel that pre tip-off bets are just too uncertain and at this point 95% of my wagers are live.
I must admit, that after many many years of doing this, with modest success (very modest at times) I didn't think that I could learn anything. I had kind of a 'know it all, been there done that attitude.'
You have been instrumental in changing the way I fundamentally approach things now. Ive been in a typical February funk lately but overall this has been my most profitable season in years.
It turns out, that I do have a lot to learn. At this point, if you offered a tutorial, Id be sitting in the front row. On your worst day, you are better than I am on my best, and I'm pretty good.

China Hong Kong Under 177.5...ingame live wager at halftime....with China being up 57-37 at the half as 38pt favs, this is where the 2nd half should slow down and scoring for the dog Hong Kong should become much more difficult, whereas China should be able to slowly pull away and get near the original line ats...the original total here was 156.5, so with over 20pts of +EV...this is an autobet for me...but only half a unit this time as its truly a numbers play only, i wont pretend to know 2 chiits about either teams roster or expectations...lets call it an early morning heat check auto bet
