You weren't even in the right zip code when it came to where Gaborik was going to sign....and now you're posting winning plays after the event....with no previous mention of anything other then the huge + money you were getting on LA to win?
 
Whatever floats your boat, but that's pretty shady if you ask me.

I placed the bet with 5 stages to go after Lance fell to 4th in GC. The Gaborik story was reported in a Vancouver newspaper and the reporter went on the radio saying he could confirm certain aspects with as many as 5 sources. I was screwed on that. Open your eyes and not your mouth.

My bad...I only thought you reported the "win" and not the bet. 
 
I don't mind people giving themselves props as long as they report the whole story (good and bad).  No mention of the money you put on Lance to win the whole thing in your last post congratulating yorurself.

I said I turned a profit after the Top 3 play and with the thread itself based around the win play I figured it went without saying that I had lost. However your point is well taken, Sorry mom.

he was never going to win. Contador and the Schleck brothers have it on him. Take away the Team Time Trial and he finishes 5th

I have heard some stories about his antics during this past tour and his reputation as an arrogant, petty, jealous little man is further enhanced.

Numero uno, that's as boring as fuck.  Numero dos, why do the hills even matter?


differing disciplines. Look at Mark Cavendish, won six stages yet finished over 3 hours from the winner. Why?

Do you want to know how hard the hills are. Get on a treadmill and go as fast as you can on a 7.5% gradient for 15 miles and tell me how hard it is. Now do that after cycling for 100 miles to get to that point. Now do that after riding over 2000 miles in the previous 3 weeks.

Now tell me if a mountain matters. Go to France and rode Mont Ventoux or alpe d'huez and tell me if it matters

I rode Ventoux last week and it took me over 2.5 hours. it took the leading riders under 1. I felt that my heart and lungs were going to explode. It's not a sunday social bike ride

Shrimp, go and watch the 2004 doco "Hell on Wheels", which will give you a riders perspective of the the Tour, and the 1977 doco "A Sunday in Hell" about the 1977 Paris-Roubaix. Your opinion of the whole situation will change
