I got caught driving drunk one time.....did it far too often and was lucky to be only caught once. I sat overnight in jail, out the next morning and sentenced to dummy school on a weekend. The first thing the instructor told us is how lucky we were to be caught. After a few seconds of silence and alot of head scratching, he siad the lucky ones get caught, learn their lesson and never do it again......lucky. The unlucky ones crash and kill someone and their life is changed forever.

I got caught once, learned my lesson and don't drink anymore. I can't for the life of me figure out why you would come on here bragging about getting away with it. Hopefully you grow up and mature some, otherwise I'll stay clear of Bethesda. Good luck tonight everyone.

My girlfriend bartends at a bar in Bethesda and those cops CAN'T WAIT to pull people over.  On Friday and Saturday nights they hang out in front of a couple of the bars and just wait for drunk assholes who don't notice them to get in their cars, it's like cherry picking.

I realize it seems implausible, but WAYYYY stranger shit has happened.  Maybe the cop was in a GREAT mood.  Maybe hes lazy as shit and trying to avoid paperwork?  Who knows.  Bottom line is that this whole process took about 3-5 minutes and I was on my way.  Obv neither one wanted to take the time to hook and book me/ they were in a good mood.  Can't explain it myself, but this definitely happened.  I understand that all of you are legal experts and have solid reasonings why my story is false........but whatever the reasons may me, they breathalized me and immediately let me go.  Possibly b/c I'm so suave or possibly b/c my car is sick.  really not sure
