I'm a Republican but in this situation I would advise the GOP to enact the emergency clause to replace Donald for the GE.
Pence can step in I think but not sure.

Phrases like "egotistical jerk" sort of imply that you have personal issues with Trump. I figured he might have done you wrong financially. Tough break partner. Better luck next time.

Unfortunately, this election has evolved into one side hating the other. No talk of issues, domestic economy, foreign policy, health care, etc.

    Oh well.

"He (Donald Trump) won the nomination fair and square."--John McCain

I agreed with Sen. McCain, Trump gets over 14 million votes through out the GOP primaries. Trump has his fair share in the GOP Presidential Nomination, GOP will have extremely tough task to replace him, unless Trump calls quit by himself which is hardly seen by everyone.

Trump's is doing the best with this group: white, non-college educated, poor males.    Sounds a lot like the people here on Covers.

Lol no studdering... just choosing my words carefully as not to be offensive

I agree. I will take more care as to not offend in the future. Civil discourse is what is needed, not name calling.

FWIW, I root for everyone to beat the books and win bets.....of course I would prefer my wager pays, but if not at least someone will get paid.

    Too much MSNBC brother.

Have we ever even heard a report on the dominate demographic of Clinton supporters?

    He never said only

    That is an incorrect statement.

He said that is the group trump is doing best with.

Is there another group that trump is doing better with?

Trump scores well with anyone that is for small government and low taxes.

This ABC poll says that he has 86% of republican voters:

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/enthusiasm-donald-trump-fades-partisanship-close-poll/story?id=42815332

So, the implication made by the non college educated, white, poor voter assertion is that the vast majority of Republicans fall into that category.

The statement was made as an insult to Trump backers, and my "only" statement pointed that out.

You mean, kind of like you did in this post and post 20? Perhaps you can argue why he's the best candidate based on the issues.

My cousin works at the DNC and they are scared to death ... apparently, Trump isn't ahead now but they are expecting upwards of tens of millions of new voters to come out and carry him to victory...seriously - Trump has a more than likely shot at winning. According to him also, they are trying to muffle and squander the LA Times/USC poll because it is based on polling voters that have never voted before and in places that are "swing" states - in said poll, Trump currently leads by 2+ points and has only not led for about 3 days total...the poll touts a "95% guaranteed accuracy rate" for this election due to its consistency - hence the NYTimes trying to recently debunk it as well ...

My whole family has been voting democrat for decades - but not this time.

    Bet Trump.

    Absolutely.

Issues that a Trump administration clearly offers a superior alternative to than a Clinton administration:

    1) Domestic economics         Specifically: Lower corporate and personal tax rates. Revisiting trade agreements such as NAFTA, GATT, and TPP. A complete overhaul on tariffs and federal intervention in the export sector.

    2) Healthcare                Listen to the nuts and bolts regarding a proposed repeal of Obamacare. Insurance companies have driven healthcare costs through the roof. Hospitals, dentists, and independent healthcare providers are facing unprecedented financial pressures. Consumers are having to drop policies because of rising premiums due to geographical location. A truly open and competitive insurance market will ensure affordability of insurance.

    3) National Security       The rhetoric out of the Clinton and Obama camp towards Russia is incendiary and polarizing. Allowing US aircraft carriers to be fired upon by assorted groups in Yemen without retaliation, coupled with fighting a "limited war" against ISIS in the middle east both undermine US strength and security. That will change under Trump.

    4) Political scandal         Wiki leaks has exposed the Clinton/media alliance.  This an example of government controlled media, as in Soviet Russia. This alliance will be challenged under Trump.

    5) Bengazi         This happened under Clinton. Inexcusable, and undeniable.

    6) Term limits       Unless you are a politician, term limits make perfect sense. Even proposing this change in governmental structure is bold, and a place to start.

So, I doubt you will read, or actually agree or disagree on any of the issues outlined above regarding why Trump is better than Clinton. And that is ok. I do not need you to validate my vote.

One other thing...while a few of the Covers "linesmen" are reading.....the popups that run video advertisements from within the thread contribute to a lag and periodic failure of the website itself in my browser.

The hiccups are causing the entire omission of typed words and misspellings to be posted on words that have been corrected.

I have run both Explorer and Chrome with the result being the same....is there a specific setting that needs to be selected, or is it a case of your website just bogging down from the traffic?

That's fantastic news. Thank you. You know, I have been looking for a reason to hedge my HRC bets and now I have one. I mean, after all, since your cousin works for the DNC and and has disclosed highly confidential information to you so that it could be posted on a gambling website, as opposed to appearing in the papers, we can still get in on this inside info.

Do you think after he leaves the DNC he can work for an NFL team so we can get the same inside info there too? God please.....

That's fantastic. I hope to pay lower taxes.  Just one problem though....the decrease in governmental revenue, the increase in military spending he proposed, the revision of trade agreements which will lead to higher costs and thus interest rates, has led nearly every major economic analyst to predict recession, similar to the trickle down days.

Here is the WSJ, a highly conservative source, discussion.

We can blame ObamaCare all we want, but the real facts are that EMTALA increased the costs of health care by 9000% since 1981. That is easy to understand because it forces providers to absorb costs with no assurance of payment.

Oh, and we've had a competitive insurance market that entire time.

So you are suggesting that Trump will get us into more conflict. I thought that was the main concern with HRC and Obama is that they are too hawkish.

The government controlled media? Every day we are reading about scandals from the Clintons that did not arise from Wikileaks. Actually, he has promised to curb press freedom.

Agreed. Every president since Truman has presided over the deaths of Americans at the hands of terrorists. I cannot imagine that any President would be free from this reality. I hope I'm wrong. Certainly you fault Reagan, Bush, and Bush II the same.

I have mixed feelings on term limits. I kind of like this quote:

“Well, I’m not a believer in term limits,” Trump said at the time. “If you don’t like someone, you push a button.” He later added, “I don’t know why it’s popular. I think it’s people who really press it who want to run for office and the only way they’ll get elected is, I guess, to term limit people out because they can’t win an election.”

it's one thing to have disagreements over issues but if you are going to suggest that BENGHAZI!!!!! isn't the most tragic event that has ever occurred on September 11, or any other date, then you've definitely crossed the line
