A friend of mine follows the Badgers closely.

He says they’re a mess.  Their record is real.  They are built for 1985 football.  No finesse or real threatening skill players.  He says even Alabama adapted to today’s game.

That’s as big of a reason Chryst got fired as any.  Poor design of his roster.
