thievery is one of if not my favorite band... consists of two DJs who mix and match with a variety of instruments, musicians, singers, languages and styles of music... all meant to sound good while blazed...
one CD or concert feels like 4 or 5 because they have a reggae/dancehall set, a percussion/drums, a roots dub and dubsyndicate futuristic dub, south american/latin, singing in english/french/spanish, sometimes indian and sitar player is a part of the group...
Ive seen them in concert more then once... even seen them 2 days in a row at a cluster of 4/19 and 4/20 shows...
their music can bring down anxiety or worry...get you pumped up... it can be chill... pretty much a song for every occasion...
this is another fav of mine...their reggae/dancehall is well done... but they do so many things well...

Drake, I gained some respect for him since he is known in the battle rap scene and is down with the battle rap scene. I’m not a fan of drake and I’m not a hater either, just not my taste of music. Lil wayne is a huge disappointment because of what he turned into.

I actually queen latifah... she is obviously a talented rapper, but also a personality and face that people like...

I can listen to rap in my car... listen to it on the way to working out... I play in a futsal league where young adults will play their playlists of rap... so I get to hear it there...
But with my wife I have to find things that are more middle ground... so thievery fits that mold and we can enjoy it together... and then enjoy the concert together because she knows the songs...
one good middle ground group that seems to work well with my wife and I is foreign exchange... have you heard of foreign exchange?
but first thing is first... some thievery...
