How would you know? Have you ever been to one of these "demonstrations"? Or have you seen 10 second blurbs on the evening news? You'd be shocked at how multicultural they actually are. That isn't a defense of their actions. What i'm more saying is race is often the ignition source for these actions but the rage that rage that fuels them is based on so much more. Rich/Poor. Have/Have nots. Justice/Injustice. In fact, one of the biggest tragedies of these events is the way they are reported on, both by liberal and conservative media. Frankly, and sadly, all forms of media sell the racial division narrative for that very reason, it sells. The truth of the matter though, the truth I have seen with my own eyes in such demonstrations in many cities across several states, is that there's few better examples of racial unity than you see in these events. Sadly, channeled in not the best of ways but unity none the less. Take demonstrations in cities like Oakland, SF, Sacramento, there's a pretty equal mix of black and white. In cities like Portland, heck, there's more white people. There's only like 5 black people in all of Oregon. Are we talking about "protesters" or "rioters & looters?" My o' My how quickly we start blurring the lines in this discussion... I think most people with a TV can draw a distinction between the "protesters" and those engaging in "rioting & looting." I'm talking about rioters and looters. Most people with a TV see 3-10 second shots of footage that a programming director decides to show. All of it is skewed one way or another. I've seen with my own eyes. Multiple cities in multiple states. I doubt you even follow multiple news sources. One or two at best, which is common, don't get me wrong but when you say the words, "most people with a TV can see" it speaks volumes. Everything on TV is just that, a TV show.
I flip through many channels, mostly the local TV stations.. And no, I don't think there's any agenda there. C'mon now.
And what am I to make of the shots taken from the local TV news helicopter. All they see is the chaos and then they zoom in. Lol. Stop trying to make this an agenda to call out those that are doing the majority of the looting.

I mean seriously, you talk of welfare. Broken homes, ect. All valid talking points for another conversation. None of them have any bearing on this conversation. It's so much more that George Floyd. It's so much bigger than any police killing. It's the systematic belief, by police, by random sad fucks on covers.com (you), and yes, even by some within our own race, the systematic belief that all black people are guilty by birth right. And therefore don't deserve to be looked at, and judged, as individuals. And that's fine for the old lady that clutches her purse when she see's a black man. Hey, that's her prerogative. All she can do is go on statistics but the police should be held to a higher standard. And it's not all race. As i've said many times, the system of vetting and training officers is what's the most broken, but race does factor. And race factors in such "stand your ground" vigilante cases such as what we saw in Atlanta, and with Treyvon Martin. Where white men take the law into their own hands, track and accost a black man (or child) only to say, "Well, I was defending myself." No, you were stalking them like animals. Animals when cornered defend themselves. Hey, if a black man kicks in your door, unload the whole magazine. I'll never say anything about race. If the cops shoot a black man during an apprehension for an armed robbery, i'll never say anything about race. But when a cop kneels on a mans neck for 9 minutes, even though he was cuffed and had two other cops on him already, when he pleads, bystanders plead, an officer pleads, and he doesn't listen, that's an injustice. That's murder. When white people arm themselves and track a man for suspected TRESPASSING, in the unfinished frame work of a home, that's a race based murder. When a wannabe cop is told by real police dispatch to stand down and he responds, "...then he'll get away. THEY always get away." Who is they? We're talking about a man that hadn't even witnessed a crime being committed. I hate the racial narrative the media pushes as much as the next guy but don't sit there and act like this stuff doesn't exist. And don't sit there and act like all black people are criminals because of that sad and disproportionate number of us that are. That is the issue I have. And as i've said, you prove my point every time you open your mouth. And don't you dare try to make it a conservative thing, or a white thing. It's a you thing. You illustrate the problem.
It's not a "me" thing... It's a societal problem. And if we want to try and fix the "societal" problems, people don't want to try and peel back the layers that are the true underlying problems. You're exhibit A of the ferocious response it gets. Is this whole thing we're going through a police problem ? Who are we kidding here ? Does the unnecessary killing of George Floyd justify the looting taking place ? How does this all help us move forward as a society ??

They disproportionately come from broken homes. Every professional knows if you come from a broken home you’re far more likely to be a criminal. Black cops target black criminals even harder than white cops. People think it’s a racist cop issue. Turn all of the cops in America black and you’ll still see all of the same problems. Bunch of nitwits trying to stuff a round hole with a square peg. Have fun chasing your tails, morons!

Show me a post in history where i've said any of this. Show me one post where i've even said racism is the main cause. Show me on post where i've said looting and rioting in justified. None of it helps us move forward and i'm strongly against it. I think it does much more damage to racial relations then any good it can do. Rioting and looting does no good and you won't find a single post where I have said anything close to that. And just where is your local news?

3,000 black people were killed in 2016 2,700 of the 3,000 were killed by a black person. Lets say these fake protests miraculously wipe out the 10% killed by non-black people. Then what?
How many of the 2700 killed by other black people were killed by black cops? Stop making false equivalencies. Police officers should be held to a higher standard than hoodlums and gangsters.

Get back to the point Stu. Far and away more blacks are killed by blacks than by cops, rednecks or any other white people COMBINED. It is a sad commentary to be sure, but reality is what it is.

A comment Jesse Jackson once said (1993) has stuck with me...
"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery. Then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved. After all we have been through, just to think we can't walk down our own streets, how humiliating."
I have to put what he said in context..Jesse Jackson was traveling the country with a tough anti-crime message that he is delivering to inner-city youngsters. In Chicago...
Many people of all races have that view of the person that might be behind them in that situation...To change,,, that view the people he was talking to in Chicago and in their whole community .. the ones he was afraid of might being behind him ..Have to change their culture ..this is up to them....if you as a culture want to project a vision of a life style that accepts and glorifies the thug life..and looks down on people in their community ...who might not want to talk and act like them...then nothing is going to change in the perception, that people like The Rev..have of the people in their community...nothing..

It is a sad but true commentary but if we are getting back to points, my only point was that if you had first hand experience with any of these rioters, you would see that they are a lot more diverse than the media would have you believe. I said this, not to excuse black rioters, again I believe none of this is excusable, but the point I was making is there is a lot more racial unity in this country than we are led to believe. You hijacked a conversion between rush and I and completedly changed the subject to grind your axe. You brought up googled numbers, as you are known to do, that while completely valid, have not much bearing on the subject at hand.

Hundreds of protesters in NYC have begun to gather outside of Gracie Mansion, the residence of Mayor DeBlasio. I wonder if his stand down order will still be in effect when they start to rush his mansion?
The organization on social media stinks to high heaven. We had protesters here in LA march on the mayor's residence, too.
Back on Sunday, it was reported that some of the looters caught here were from out of state. Who is funding the anarchy in our cities

"Federal authorities in Nevada say anyone engaging in criminal activity that hijacks otherwise peaceful protests in the state will face charges and prosecution."
REALLY? Then this is the height of hypocracy. So how many of those gangmember thugs (police caught on camera) will be facing charges? How many of the George Soros Funded agent provocateurs will be facing charges?
The hypocracy points directly to the level of corruption inbedded into the criminal INjustice system. And all you wankers want to talk about is anything else but the real problems.
Relax. I'm unvaxxed!

Who is deciding what black lives matter? If it is a black cop that gets shot in the head — nobody seems to care. If a black person is killed by another black person — nobody seems to care. If a black person is killed — and the death can be used to prop up the Democratic Party — it becomes a national story. It is amazing how easily people are getting played.
The media.

Abolish the Police huh? Trump just won his second term.
Just when you thought the looney left couldn't come up with anything more insane than the current platform, defund the police departments comes to the rescue.
I can't believe the world I'm living in... Watch the drone footage from the Minneapolis anarchists and you'll see what happens when the police retreat.
Isn't it odd that we're not supposed to "prejudge" anyone but a few cops commit heinous acts and we're suppose to defund all of them.

While the protesters are on a roll and more or less are getting some changes ,,, for instance new criminal charges were leveled against four Minneapolis policemen implicated in the death of a George Floyd. Added murder charge were filed against one officer already in custody and the arrest of three more accused of playing a role in the death of George Floyd..
Bail was originally set for Derek Chauvin at $500k later when the protest continued and the other three officers were arrested charge their bail was set at $750,000..now the Minnesota AG has raised the bail for all four officers to $1 million..
While now ,,on that roll the movement shifts to defund the police,, activists are pushing protesters to target US cities and states for police reform..starting with cutting law enforcement budgets...calls to defunding the police are now the trend..looks like the protest across the country ,,may continue for a little while longer..

If white America was really THAT racist, they would say, "...Okay." and pull police completely out of the black community.

Stu you seem like a smart guy, Something very fishy smells about everything from Covert-19 to the Protests. Covert -19 didn't quite get the response or outcry slash backlash that certain individuals wanted. When a plan of this magnitude is set into motion you can guarantee their is a plan B,C,D.............. or should I say Phase.
