He asked me to put money in his account twice, but I didn't.

And I was responding to Austin about the 10K limit.  If you have a good rep, you can open an account for anyone for any amount, at least in my experience.

that does not make any sense. when a bookie gets burned ONCE by a welsher he learns and his limits tighten up faster than a new prisoners sphincter. this is an illelgal activity and there are no legal remedies for dead beats who don't pay. any risk is borne by the bookie. they want to make money not lose it to deadbeats.....

Person A has used the same local for 10+ years and never given him a problem.  He asks him to open an account for a friend who is good for the losses, like he has been for 10+ years.  You think the book says no?  Ok.

I could destroy every ounce of this guys credibility, but I won't. Not that type of guy and will not play his game. I have my lawyer. Again, you can't threaten peoples family, career etc. I had my say. Thanks.

Getting a line of credit for 10K is par for the course for a new account from a well established player. Trust me. Many agents don't want to be hassled picking up less than 5K anyway. Think about it.

This right here is why I believe Gamehunter.   It's proof that Roused is broke as a joke.     Desperate people do desperate things right Roused?

And I was responding to Austin about the 10K limit.  If you have a good rep, you can open an account for anyone for any amount, at least in my experience.

    Hey Danno!

I'm interested in what type of account he has asked you to put it in. It's clear he has no credit cards and I am not sure about a bank account. He has asked me to lend him money in a very unique manner (available at certain stores) on numerous occasions.

Listen very carefully guys. This is the true story: I knew a person who while trying to be wise ass introduced to his bookie a money flushing and shick style living high rolling acquittance he just met in AC. He had a deal with the bookie that he would get kick back of 30% on every sum that shick guy lost (in local neighborhood casino). Everything was going by the "plan" and each time I met the guy, he was bragging that he is living off the losses of his acquittance. Then I did not see a guy for a while and after I finally met him a year after, he could not buy pack of ciggarettes. He lost his house, got divorced and etc. How come? Appears to be that the bookie and the "acquittance" played a sting on him: when losing in the beginning the acquittance would pay up immediately, but in few instances he has asked for credit and the guy I knew could not refuse to be his guarantor and soon enough was guaranteeing about a 100K. Of course the acquittance has disappeared and the guy I knew had to sell his apartment to pay off acquittance debt to a bookie. That bookie was later found dead and so was the acquittance and the guy I knew is serving two life sentences.

I have been gambling for over 30 years and bookies dont just hand out 10k limits to people that just come on board. Maybe a retarded bookie might do that, but no smart bookie would ever do that.
Theres only 1 way a bookie would do that and that is if you were gonna pay what the guy loses if he doesnt pay.  And nobody in their right mind is going to say yes to that. I would never in a million years volunteer to cover a degenerate gamblers debt if he didnt pay.  Thats pure stupidity.

So let me get this straight.    Gamehunter was trying to setup Roused.   But it was really Roused and a Bookie setting up Gamehunter.   And now that the whole thing has fallen apart.    Gamehunter is going to kill Roused and the bookie and end up in San Quentin.

    Interesting.

    RIP Roused.

I guess these guys are from the East Coast so maybe Gamehunter will go to Rikers Island not San Quentin.   My mistake.

How was I setting him up Grey? I was getting nothing out of it. But, yes, I agree, Roused was setting me up from the very beginning. And the fact that he was trying to borrow money from someone other than me on Covers proves he dead broke and I got conned.

Your'e a very smart person Grayhound, and I mean it. And in the humorous way you opted it - it might very well be the story. One thing is for sure - we did not get to the bottom of real motives on both sides.
