When will Nucks fans here and on other sites realized that the Cup is not won in Jan/Feb??????????? What good is this great run if they get bounced--AGAIN--in the playoffs as they have each of the last 2 seasons by the team from what city????????  UH/??????? CHICAGO!!! MY HOMETOWN THAT'S IT!!!! Speaking of Chicago Nucks fans kinda remind me of Cubs fans here in the Chi. Though I hate both teams lol I admire their loyalty and faithfulness but plz don't be so foolish as to get ahead of yourselves as u haven't won a damn thing yet....What good is this tremendous regular season run if u choke in the playoffs again????? Is Luongo really a big time goalie??? Dont think so. What has he ever done in the post-season???? He looks scared. Dont mention Olympics either he did not play well at all..Lotsa great fans in Vancouver no doubt....Great city no doubt....Look forward to playoffs again I think Nucks realize it's now or never and that it's time to shit or get off the pot. We will see how they handle the pressure.....

why does boston play philly so tough but seems to get dominated by montreal who cant beat philly? its just one of those things. i have little confidence that monreal can beat the flyers but if they play the bruins..i expect them to win.

i feel the same way about my avs man they just can't ever beat the nucks and i think it is bs we can beat damn near any other team but not them

When did we proclaim we won anything? All we've said is we're in first, the team is doing awesome, and the team is great with great players.. I haven't seen a nuck fan once proclaim we've won something?

Also if this good run means nothing.. Why are we watching? I guess we might as well not watch hockey until playoffs start.. Because playoffs is the only thing that matters? No. Its how you get to the playoffs as well my friend..  And we are getting there good this season.. Tho I do agree that if we get there and bust - it will be all for nothing.. But until then you can't say its for nothing!

All I hear from flutie and other haters is how this run doesn't matter and until the playoffs nothing matters.. Ok well don't post on here until playoffs - when it matters.. Until then we're the best so suck it up #$%^es..

So I go to the game last nite and a qtr of the crowd is disguised as habs fans in the lower bowl..

Would that ever happen in Toronto?? Montreal?? lol.. never..

reason being.. Canucks fans are too stupid to realize that their selling their season tickets to Habs fans..

Better yet..being outnumbered by a large number..still.. Habs fans were still twice as vocal..

most chants were started by habs fans and whenever some canucks fan was told on  the scoreboard to cheer then they were immediately tuned out by Habs fans then the nuckleheads stopped making noise and waited again for the scoreboard to tell them what to do..

Being that its a hockey game and not cricket or basketball half the crowd has no timing of momentum in a hockey game and sit on their hands waiting for the foul line shots!!

Seriously..how can u not be embarrassed to be a Cancuks fan after last nite because if ur not down after that piss poor effort by the fan base then ur not a fan which im guessing is the reason..but keep on doing the bandwagon thing..the real fans will let you know when ur "destined" run is over, again!

I'll admit that Montreal probably has the best and most passionate fans in the NHL. But calling out Vancouver fans is unnecessary, we are a successful franchise that has a sellout in the building every night.

We have great fans, unfortunately many of the more passionate fans can't afford to go to the games anymore (I'm pretty sure we have the most expensive "cheap seats" in the league). Also, the scalping that goes on in Vancouver is out of control, many season ticket holders are scalpers that could care less if they sold it to a visiting fan or not. Visiting team fans are willing to pay more anyways.

The regular season has become pretty tame in Vancouver, due to all the success in the recent years. However, come playoff time - there isn't a louder building in the league. This city will be rocking come playoff time.

Your hate for the Canucks is comical

That's not really fair considering that Montreal has the largest and most vocal fanbase in the league. Every time the Canucks make a trip to LA or Anaheim the building is usually half full of Canuck fans, including me.

Since when did making noise at a hockey game all of a sudden turned you into a "real" fan. When I make a trip to Rogers Arena I usually have my mouth shut turing the play aside from the "oohhhhs" and "ahhhhs" of a scoring oppurtunity/big hit. I go to the game to study the game and watch. I'm a die-hard Canucks fan and always will be, but since I don't make noise while I'm at the game I should be embarassed? No.

Canucks fans have nothing to be chanting about right now. We've got our playoff spot locked down and we're first overall in the league. Come back and see us come playoff time. Sure, we aren't going to be nearly as loud as Montreal. I think we all know that, but we'll be ready to cheer.

Ya i haven't been very impressed either, but you can't do much with 5 minutes of ice time a game. I think AV (coach) is probably the weakest part of the team...

What are you getting at? Van has the best team with the highest point getters and + defencemen in the league. They still win this injury's and will win the cup ,sit back and see.

If you seriously can't admit that we have a good team you are an idiot, you are stupid, you are a lot of things.

I admit that Philly, Nashville, etc.. Teams like that are also good teams and pose a threat to us! There are quite a few good teams that I will admit are good teams!

To not admit that the 1st place team isn't a good team then.. Well you might have a brain injury or be mentally handicapped somehow..

Let our play do the talking. Nuff said. If you think otherwise your the above statement.

    Cya in playoffs.

Yeah you have a good team but i hate 2 break this 2 ya the playoffs are a bran new season....There are upsets every year in the playoffs...yeah it`s great 2 be first over all but if you get knock out it`s all for not...over the years i have seen alot  of good teams get beat by a lucky break or 2...So we can all sit here say oh my team is better then your team.. But in the end the players are the ones  who will decide who wins lord stanley.

Ya we lost to 2 game to good eastern conference teams, your point?

We currently have nothing really to play for, winning around every other game will pretty much give us the presidents trophy anyways. O and we are missing 3 of our top 7 dmen, leaving Tanev our rookie dman to play 20 min vs the Habs. I didn't watch the Montreal game, but I did watch the Bruins game and had a BIG bet on the Bruins. I can tell u that I was sweating out that whole 3rd period, the Canucks out chanced and outplayed them and Thomas came up big. I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch of those two teams in the finals...
