Any Suggestions for Making a Good Potato Salad?

If not sweet enough, add more sugar. If too sweet, add more wine. Light when ready, put top on the pot to put out fire, serve warm

that sounds much higher dollar. . . my Grandma always gets a jug of the cheapest port wine, and some rotgut ass vodka to mix. . . can't cost more than $25 on alcohol

Get a real nice rye, or even multi grain bread and slice it into about 3X4 pieces

Toast it.

Spread some dijon mustard on it.

Steam some thin asparagus, and cut them in half.

Layer tops and bottoms(so you don't get one of just tops or bottoms) on top of the toasted bread with the mustard.

Top it with provolone or mozzarella for the pussies, and pepper jack for those with nuts, and just stick them briefly back in the over just to melt the cheese.

Quick and simple, and everyone loves them. And you don't see many sophisticated finger foods at parties, just that shitty chili velveta nacho bullshit.
