There are many other ways for refs to fix games than just a flag or a non-call.

No one seems to pay attention to clock management until the end of the quarter.  It is possible if there is a fix in on the total, the clock can stopped early/late, called in-bounds or out-of-bounds, play clock not starting quite or time or early.

No one seems to pay attention to exactly where the chains are set until you need a measurement.  Who's to say they don't set the chains a half yard too short or too long?

Forward progress stopped...Where the ball is spotted after a play...

Whistles blown!  Easiest to explain away - you can't review the play then.  The Den/SD game was a big example, but I saw 2 examples yesterday and I didn't watch but a few games.  In the DAL/SF game, Zach Thomas recovered a fumble, no 49er was within 6 feet of him...he got up and ran in the end zone.  No TD because "the whistle blew."  I believe there was another one in the SD/IND game last night, but wasn't paying as much attention to that game as Dallas is my team.

I have no doubt that there are officials on the take.  We saw it in the NBA, and even the league didn't catch it until the feds did.  Is it league-wide?  Hell no.

Now to explain why I don't like to pick early, You know I have been saying the refs fix the games. When unexpected things happen and the refs can't control a game such as a blowout, this changes the schedule.. The reason a ref may not be able to control a blowout is that a ref can only penalize a team so much before it looks suspicious, If you call back an 80 yard TD, no big deal but if you call back 3 TD's it becomes headlines. They want to stay under the radar. When a team is just on fire and unstoppable the refs have to let it go and fight another day. However, on the same day other games will change.IE possibly the NO or SD game. Since the refs couldn't stop the team that was on fire, other refs will get the job done on another game that day. I know this may be confusing for some or downright insane but what can I say? It is. Now that is my explanation for why nothing is 100% and why I don't pick early. Remember that Sports Betting is also a business, If Vegas loses money to the public on a game the refs couldn't control,  Vegas will get it back quick on other games the public is betting heavy on. Explaining how it works is a mind bender and makes people think you are a nutjob. Glad I can provide entertainment.

Looks like the Refs are on the Saints!!!

Saints Over should be a L...

but please do not turn into a tout as they say.

Jeffsmith, I remember that iowa game like it was yesterday.  I went from my bet being a loser to suddenly winning, only to have it stripped away by the corrupt refs.  I couldnt believe that play and how the refs called that bullshit imaginary penalty.

Iam just now reading this thread and it is weird why nobody has asked you why you dont gamble then.  This was going to be one of my first questions?   So why dont you gamble if you can pluck out the winners?  Is it against your religion or something?

Lastly since you started this topic, it would be nice to see you fully explain how to spot the games that are rigged.  Iam a firm 100 percent believer in that games are fixed. When you have billions of dollars changing hands, there is no doubt powerful people are going to try getting their hands on that cash.  For people to believe that the sports industry doesnt have bigtime corruption in it, is mind boggling to me.
My motto and i stand by it "HUMANS+MONEY+GREED=CORRUPTION"
Its been this way since man has been on this planet and always will be like that when money is involved.   I laugh when i hear people say there is to much money involved for people to fix games and how they would get caught, because thats a complete laugher.  These people are never going to get caught, at least not by any govt agency.  99 percent of the people dont realize that the sports industry is the 5th biggest factor to the whole economy.  If the feds were to bust the corruption taking place, people would all stop spending money on sports and this in turn would help to further destroy the whole economy.  Its just not gonna happen.
Only reason the nba ref got caught was because it was an accident by the feds catching his name in a wiretap or he would still be out there reffing games today.  Nobody even notices how such a big story basically vanished form the public.  Also look how fast our govt got this case closed.  They wanted to help the nba clean up, so people wouldnt lose faith in the game.

Getting back to the money part, there is never enough money for any human no matter how much they have.  We as a people always want more.  Look at martha stewart, she risked her whole entire billion dollar empire by trying to make an extra 275k cheating on the stock market.  Why would somebody do this? ITS CALLED GREED.

Lastly why i would love for you to explain in greater detail on how to spot the fixed games because i havent been able to nail the fixed ones down before the games start, but it doesnt take me very long watching a game to be able to see who the refs clearly want to win.  Like i said i would love to have this ability before the games go off.

    Thanks for the posts

yeah i was, i just dont need to turn to making myself look important by being "in the know" of how the innerworkings of the nfl "fix" game works to go 2-1.  i liked the jets cause tenn isnt putting up a lot of points and i thought favre could keep them in it, san diego cause they cover at home and peytons been playin like shit and no cause they play well on the fast track and gb had covered 5 in a row, not because any of these were public plays like ur little buddy, none of these were significant public plays either way, another reason this stuff is hysterical.  and i'm not going anywhere buttboy

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR BUCKUBAD, You humor me when you take me out of context!!! I am not 1-1, nor am I 2-1, I gave you guys the Jets. Then I mentioned the other 2 games SD/Ind and NO/GB stating SD or NO would cover and POSSIBLY BOTH. I never said bet on SD, however I did say they may also cover the spread, and did warn that picking games early is dangerous. The two games I said to play very clearly were NYJ and Late last night I said New Orleans. You may need to go back and read my posts from beginning to end sir. I clearly stated the two teams to bet on, they both won.

only game i pushed here on covers was tampa bay, look it up buttboy.  called it fairly well and only for the benefit of others here not so i could write a book and say things like "come back for my next installment and i'll show you how the color of the socks worn by the side judge tells u to take the points"  but u and ur 6 posts have a lot of quality picks to give you tons of credibility.  oh i hate bookies

I get the feeling that people are just waiting for me to lose, LOL. It will happen at some point, but not today my friends!!! Like I said before, If my theory is correct and I can assure you I believe it is...What you guys think really doesn't matter much to me but I try to remain friendly even under the BS some people shoot at me. Even a fixed game is not guarenteed, to keep the integrity of the game would be the priority over fixing ONE PATICULAR GAME..Like I said previously, If it goes wrong there is always another game to make it up. (The public money is what I am referring too).

You're right about one thing: I don't post much. I can see that you and your litttle sister the ref have posted over 20,000 times!  Holy shit lady, get a life!

As far as my picks, I admit, sometimes I simply flip a coin and go 60%. That's Phenominal isn't it?!?!?

thank you for  your insight on the gaming theory.  I as well believe in the points you have made about fixing by refs players and others. it is a business and all about the bottom line.  please keep writing your article is very interesting and very insightful .  you are the only one i have followed a thread on because of your calm approach to others stupidity and childish comments. Thanks again and keep it up!!

    Yab,
I will give some secrets to give you a hand as soon as guys like buck leave. This Thursday is Thanksgiving and in the betting world it is Thanksgiving also. I could pick 2 winners on that day blindfolded. Buck has quoted one thing right from all his posts on this thread, I am writing a book that will soon be finished and I spill it all (opinion of course). I can show thousand of hours from all sports, both college and pro of what I believe to be fixed games. Of Course, in a book I have to quote the games and the things that happened. If I pick you guys 10 winners you would still have guys like Buck, why waste my time. I put it on the line and gave the winners, and can give them out all day if I wanted to do so. The system is very vey complicated and nobody can be 100% right long term. however, if you are a gambler and hitting 80%+ who cares about 100% right? Money and the thrill is the bottom line right? as I was saying the system is very complicated and even more complicated to explain, I speak as if it were handicapping but it is more like reading. Buck keeps calling me a bookie I think? What sense does that make Buck? Please enlighten me.
