Men's Downhill is up first.
I think the homeboy (manny osborne-paradis) offers some decent value at +800, vs the +350 available on the WC downhill leader, didier cuche, who does have a broken thumb. in torino, a french guy stole the gold, why can't an italian turn the trick at creekside ? werner heel sits just 9 points behind paradis in the DH standings, yet his price sits at +1500. i think bode is a nut case, he's certainly good for the sport, but i just don't think he's worth the +650 asking price, and he has less than half as many points as the canadian or the italian this season. i think the norwegian heir to aamodt's throne is over priced, while i think guay is subject to some home country inflation. paradis also ranks in the top ten in super g, as does the austrian, mario schreiber, but i like the value in the italian, heel at +1500. slovenian, andrej jerman also might worth a shot at +2000.
